I saw this muddy, muddy puddle. And I saw little pebbles being dropped into that puddle. And every time a pebble would fall into the puddle, it would cause that mud, silt, to come up from the bottom and make that puddle so muddy. The Spirit of the Lord dealt with me and He showed me a white stone. You can read it in the Book of the Revelation. He showed me a white stone. All the other little rocks looked more like gravel, looked more like gravel in your yard. Greyish and whitish streaks, and mingled in color.
But He showed me a little smooth white stone. So smooth on every side, like it had spent the majority of its existence in a stream somewhere, with all of that water rushing over it to grind it down and polish it up and make it so beautiful, like those little smooth stones you can find on the seashore some-time.
White. Snow-white. And that stone was dropped in that puddle. And all of those stones that had stirred up the muddiness and the silt, when that white stone dropped into that puddle, I watched every bit of that murkiness go to the bottom. Not settle like this. And I could see clear to the bottom of that puddle. And I could see all the little stones laying there on the bottom, that had been used to muddy up the water.
If you’ll let God come this morning, He is your righteousness. He is your shoulder to lean on.
And He can take that white stone and drop that down into your life, and clear the murky waters of your mind.
And I feel this morning that a lot of us have murky minds. We’re so cared about and tossed about with cares and worries and troubles and concerns. Then there’s a group of us that we think we’ve got all the solutions some-time. And we’re murkied up.
Some of us are murkied up with problems. Some of us are murkied up with solutions. Got all the problems and don’t know how to solve them. Some of us have got all the answers and don’t know how to implement them. Halle-lujah. We just need to say, “Lord, You come. You come.”
