Drawing from Deuteronomy 6:4–9, Exodus 13:16, Exodus 28:36–40, Jeremiah 31:33, 2 Corinthians 3:3, and Revelation 14:1, Brother Shelley builds a continuous typological thread from the Shema and Aaron’s golden plate to the New Covenant promise of the law written on the heart. He argues that the Hebrew instruction to bind the Word between the eyes and upon the hand was never merely about leather phylacteries but was always pointing to a spiritual reality: the believer’s deliberate, daily attachment to truth as the only defense against the mark the enemy seeks to place on mind and hand. The message carries a sharp pastoral edge, warning the congregation about the slow infiltration of contrary influences through social media, apostate voices, and the spirit of Babylon, while closing with a vision of God’s scales of righteousness, justice, and equity and the assurance that only the life of Christ — the true seal of God — can bring a believer into balance before those scales.
