Schemes & Devices, Part 5

Any strategy revealed to us in God’s Word has to work in our life if approached with the right attitude. In 2 Corinthians 10 we are given a three-fold strategy to pull down strongholds & raise up in a new place in Christ.

First, we must cast down every imagination & everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. This requires a conscious effort to realize when the enemy is flooding our minds with scenarios that don’t align with God’s Word.

Second, we must bring into captivity every thought. We have to gather all of our stray thoughts and submit them to the obedience of Christ. Third, we must become obedient to God & His divine leadership in our life. We cannot continue to rebel against the Word of God & expect the truth of God’s Word to work in our lives.
