The Lord gave me a vision a few days ago, in a prayer meeting here, that had a powerful impact in the service. And people were really touched and blessed, and testified later of what God had sown into their spirits.
I saw a great eagle. And this eagle was taking flight. He was trying to take flight. But he was only getting so high and being yanked or jerked back down. And I couldn’t figure out why he was only getting a few feet off the ground.
When I moved in on the vision, I saw that he was tethered. He was tied down. And he could only go so high, because someone had tethered him. But by the anointing of God, the tether was broken. The bondage was broken. And that eagle was then allowed to go soaring into the heavenly realms.
It is the enemy’s job to tether you. It’s the enemy’s job to hold you into the earthly realm. But God wants you to be able to soar into the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Can you say amen? When you sense in your spirit that something is trying to hold you back, do something about it. Don’t let it go on, but do something about it. Let the Fire of God fall and burn that tether and loose you from all bondage.
