I had seen that Word in a vision before I began to speak it. I saw, it looked like a beautiful conference table with dark cherry wood. And I saw some of us bringing under our arms, like a portfolio. You know, like a notebook. And we were all carrying our portfolios to the table. And I saw that when we were coming there into the Presence of the Lord, that God had something else.
I didn’t see the Lord so much, but I saw like an arm that came pushing across the table and a hand and a robe-flowing sleeve of a garment. And this hand pushed across the table what looked like a manila envelope. And it was one of those envelopes that has the string on it, that you wrap around the little round tabs. You know what I’m talking about. And I saw the Lord. And the Lord spoke to me and said, “I’m pushing the envelope.”
And God was pushing this plan across the table to us. But we had come with our own program, and with our own agendas, and our own portfolios under our arms. I didn’t exactly understand what I was seeing, and then a prophetic Word began to come.
We should leave our portfolios, leave our notebooks and our agendas, all that we’ve thought about and planned. Leave that. Don’t even bring it to the table, because the hand of the Lord is pushing an envelope across the table. And God said, “That that’s been hidden from you, and that that’s been a secret to you, shall soon be revealed. And you shall know the plans that I have for you,” saith the Lord.
And I heard the Lord say, “For I know the plans that I have for you.”
You know, we often see that in graduation cards. That word, is that in Jeremiah? “I know the plans that I have for you.”
God already has a plan. But we often come to the table. I could just see it, under our arm as though we were proud of it. It’s our baby, you know, our creation. We’ve been sitting at the drawing board. We’ve been sitting at the table, drafting out and drawing out our program, and what we think ought to happen, and how it ought to be. How it ought to be planned out, and how things ought to progress.
But God is looking for people who care about what’s in the envelope. I don’t know about you, but I care tonight what’s in the envelope that God is pushing across the table. I desire to know the plan that God has in my life.
And as I spoke that, I saw what looked like about a ten or twelve inch stake, coming out of the ground. And God said, “Someone is pulling up their tent pegs to follow the Pillar of Fire.”
How many of you desire to pull up your tent pegs and follow the Pillar of Fire?
