I saw something very strange. I’ve been having different kinds of revelations since I’ve been in Jerusalem. Like my dream the other night, that was more like a movie than a dream. And I just had that kind of a vision, that actually had a plot, a story to it.
I saw that some of us were gathered military, some kind of military mission. And there was some discussion going on among us, how that we would get into this camp. We were standing on a very high mountain. The enemy was camped at the base of the mountain. And there was great discussion on how we would get in, because there was a smaller mountain between us and the enemy, like a pass.
A tall mountain here, and a mountain there. And a very narrow pass between. And then the enemy was camped at the base of those two mountains, through the pass. And there was great discussion on how we would do it. And the decision was made that we would hang-glide in. (I know that sounds strange.) I saw the hang-gliders. And the decision was made that we would hang-glide in.
And some of us, having never done anything like that before, we were of course nervous. And I felt very untrained to qualify to do it. And yet I knew in my spirit that that was the way.
But all of a sudden someone began to make a suggestion that we go another way. And it was like a big crate that was sitting over to the side, that I hadn’t noticed before. And several people went over and opened up the crate. It opened up like a box-car. And inside were these machines that looked like contraptions.
And a brother pulled one of these things out. And I don’t know what they’re called, Brother Bill, but I remember reading something one time about a World’s Fair, many years ago, where they released this little prototype of a personal something – It straps on. It had harnesses, where it would cross. And it was like a personal… Is the word propulsion? Like a jet propulsion, or something.
There was a discussion going on. And it would have been much more efficient and safer, because we had an ability to do a little bit of steering, even more. And there was some discussion about the wind coming up between this mountain, and the other two mountains. Maybe the wind would come up through the pass to push the hang-gliders into the mountain.
But I saw that there was division. And in the division some decided they would use these personal devices, and they were putting them on, and there was such a fear in me, that I just screamed out, “That is not the right way. That is not the right way. That is dangerous.”
But the argument came back, that the hang-gliding was the more dangerous. But anyway, there were three people that took the leap. And I could hear the motor running for a season, and then it stopped. And I could see these people… I didn’t see their destruction, but I saw that it wasn’t going to work, and that they were going down.
And so then there was great distress among those who were left, and a great fear and a great nervousness.
But I saw in the end it broke, the vision kind of broke. And then I came back into it. And as I came back into it, we were actually hang-gliding. We had actually gone down several, I don’t know how many, but several had actually gone off.
And it was almost like the wind was just carrying us with such precision. And all that we had been afraid of, the wind pushing us to one side or whatever, nothing like that happened. And there was great, great precision. And we were just moving in a line, right through this pass, and dropping right down into the camp of the enemy, for whatever God was sending.
