John 5:24-30 24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 25Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. 26For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man**.** 28Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. 30I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

John 5:24 (AMP) 24I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believes and trusts in and clings to and relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) eternal life. And he does not come into judgment [does not incur sentence of judgment, will not come under condemnation], but he has already passed over out of death into life.**

9 And Lot, remember, had took his choice and had went down into Sodom to live in sin, and luxury, and pleasure. But yet, he was a believer.

And now, this may have a little bit of a Calvinistic whang to it, but if a man is once a Christian, he may get away from It, but It’ll never get away from him. There’s something happens to a man. John 5:14, Jesus said, “He that heareth My Word and believeth on Him that sent Me hath (present tense) Eternal Life, and shall never come into condemnation, but hath (past tense) passed from death unto Life.” That’s His Word. See?

10 But Lot had backslid. He was going—not to lose his soul, but lose his reward. And there he was…Now remember, to find out whether he was still—had the spark in his heart, we find out that the Bible said that the sins of that people vexed his righteous soul.

The Faith Of Abraham

23 Now, Abraham…promise of God and Abraham’s seed. It was all to…The promise is just as much to the seed as it was to Abraham, given unconditionally. Oh, I love that. That’s got a little Calvinistic wing to it; but look, I believe in Calvinism as long as it stays in the Bible. But when he gets out of the Bible, then I don’t believe in it.

Genesis 15:7-21 15   And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it. 8And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it? 9And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. 10And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not. 11And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away. 12 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. 13And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; 14And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. 15And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age. 16But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full. 17And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces. 18In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: 19The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, 20And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, 21And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

Galatians 3:11-18 11But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:** 14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 15Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. 16Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

Galatians 3:15-16 (AMP) 15To speak in terms of human relations, brethren, [if] even a man makes a last will and testament (a merely human covenant), no one sets it aside or makes it void or adds to it when once it has been drawn up and signed (ratified, confirmed). 16Now the promises (covenants, agreements) were decreed and made to Abraham and his Seed (his Offspring, his Heir). He [God] does not say, And to seeds (descendants, heirs), as if referring to many persons, but, And to your Seed (your Descendant, your Heir), obviously referring to one individual, Who is [none other than] Christ (the Messiah).

Romans 4:1-25 1What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? 2For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 6Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, 7Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 8Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. 9Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. 10How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. 11And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also: 12And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised. 13For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 15Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. 16Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, 17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. 18Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: 20He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. 22And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. 23Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Romans 5:1 1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Abraham

19 Now, you know what a covenant is? And now we want to speak on the covenant just for a few minutes. God made His covenant with Adam, and Adam broke His covenant. And when God makes a covenant with man, man always breaks the covenant with God. So God by foreknowledge knew that there had to be some preparation made to save man. God made this covenant with Abraham unconditional.

Now, that may be a little strong, but He made it unconditional. Before Abraham did anything to merit. God said, “I have already finished it.” Nothing Abraham he had to do with it. “I have done it. You’re coming to Me in an old age, and I’ve already saved you. And not only have I saved you; I’ll save your seed after you.” Not if you’ll do something, and if you will, or if you won’t. “I have.” A finished work. God already done it.

20 Say, “Brother Branham, why are you hitting on those things at night?” Is the reason of this. If you can ever get the scare out of the church and let them realize who they are and what they are positionally, healing will be the simplest message to be preached, or anything else. But you’re scared. You’re afraid. You don’t realize that you’re sons and daughters of God; and now, not we will be. We are now sons and daughters of God, not way off in the future. And we won’t sometime in the future set in heavenly places; now we’re seated in heavenly places, right now. And now we are the sons and daughters of God. It does not yet appear what we shall be in the end, but we know we’ll see Him, for we’ll have a body like His. We’ll see Him as He is.

But now we are the sons and daughters of God, and the covenant is made to Abraham and to his seed after him. Now, notice. Now, God didn’t tell Abraham, “If you’ll do this, or if you’ll do that.” He said, “I have.” So the whole covenant is grace altogether and no works about it at all.

21 Now, you say, “That has an awful Calvinistic swing to it, Brother Branham.”

That’s right. It does, and Calvinism is all right as long as it stays true to the Bible; but when it gets off on the wrong limb, then it’s no good. Arminianism, holiness is correct as long as it stays in Bible holiness, not your holiness but His Holiness. See? Then it’s not my holiness. It’s…I’m not depending on my holiness. I have none, but I’m wholly trusting in His holiness. See? It’s He’s the One Who did it. Not my works, but His finished works that I rest assured that I was received into the Beloved and when the Beloved was received by God, God received me in Christ; that settles it. See? No negatives, no ifs and ands. It’s a finished work.

Ephesians 4:30 30And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

The Testimony Of A True Witness

70 Now, I think that, being that we see out from our congregation, that life is so fragile, then, that death is so positive, we need to come to a place that we are positive sure that This that we speak of is right. See? It is not something that you can just haphazardly, as we would say, accept It. You’ve got to be positive sure that It’s right, because we do not know what kind of an end that we will come to.

71 Now, the one reason that I am a Calvinistic thinker, of security of the believer, is because I believe, that when a man or a woman is in their right mind, that is the time to accept the Lord Jesus. And get it all settled then, once for ever. Because, when we come to the end of the road, we don’t know just where and how we’re going to be sick. We may be sick in our mind, there might be a fever that would really cook our very brain, and we might say anything or do anything at the end of the road. We don’t know. But, you see, if we have already anchored in Christ, no matter what sickness takes us, or what condition we are when we go, it’s already settled.

72 We are sealed until the day of our redemption… not of your death, but “of your redemption.” See, after death is done over, you are still sealed.

153 He makes no mistakes. He wouldn’t bring you in if you wasn’t worthy. He knows your heart. That’s right. He knows what you are. He knows your motives. He knows what you are. There are traps all along the road. Sure, the devil will cause you to stumble. And you say, “I didn’t mean to do that. God, You know it.” You’re still perfect because there’s a perfect Blood offered for you, every day, and a bleeding Sacrifice hanging before the Throne of Almighty God.

Matthew 12:31-32 31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Mark 3:28-29 28Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: 29But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

Luke 12:10 10And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

The Unpardonable Sin

108 Now, the first thing we want to know, what is the unpardonable sin? Some of them said, “It’s suicide.” Some of them said, “It’s—it’s a mother that gets rid of her child,” abortionate case. Others have said this. Others has—has said, “Because you once had the Holy Ghost, and backslid on the Holy Ghost, that’s the unpardonable sin.” It isn’t. No, sir.

113 What is “speaking evil against,” “speaking against the Holy Spirit,” “speaking against”?

114 Now, you could be mistaken, say, “The operation of the Holy Ghost…Somebody shouting, it could be the Holy Ghost.” That could, and it could not be. You say, “Speaking in tongues, he speaking in tongues, is the Holy Ghost speaking through it?” That could be, and it could not be. That’s exactly right. Cause, I’ve lived to see the time that I know that everything speaks with tongues hasn’t got the Holy Spirit on them.

115 I’ve seen devils speak with tongue. I’ve seen witch doctors speak in tongues. I’ve seen them drink blood out of a human skull, and speak with tongues. I’ve seen pencils lay on the table, and write in an unknown tongues, and witches read it. That don’t mean that they’re a Christian.

116 I’ve seen them shout, and jump up-and-down, and praise the Lord; and go out and steal, and lie, and cheat, and everything else. I know that doesn’t come from God.

117 But I tell you, brother, where there is Divine, perfect love of God resting in the heart, sealed, the same yesterday, today, moving on, you can begin to take thought of that. Jesus said, “This will all men know that you’re My disciples, when you have love one for another.”

Revelation, Chapter Four #3

114 … People sit in the back of the church and laugh at somebody speaking with tongues, or dance in the Spirit; gone, blasphemed the Holy Ghost, sealed forever! “Whosoever speaks a word against the Holy Ghost will never be forgiven in this world, neither in the world to come.” Don’t gaze upon It! Stay away from It or either accept It!
