Mark 11:23-24 23For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

157 Now, He told us, “If thou canst believe! If you can say to this mountain, ‘Be moved,’ and don’t doubt in your heart, but believe that what you’ve said will come to pass, you can have it. When you pray, believe that you receive it, it’ll be given to you.” What a promise!

21 Then He’s here. Is that right? He said, “Wherever two or three are gathered,” no matter how small a group, two or three, “I’ll be in their midst. What anything they ask, shall receive it.” Now, that’s either right or it’s wrong.
Jesus said, “If ye abide in Me, and My Word in you, you can ask what you will, it’ll done to you. Whatsoever things you desire when you pray, believe you receive it.” That’s…But watch the order of the Word now. You believe now, you receive it, it shall be given to you tonight. See? He can’t do nothing for you, until first you believe it and say He has done it. Let me let that soak real deep.
22 How many correctly understands that?… No matter how sick you are, what about it, you’ve got to first believe He does it, and then confess that He has done it, before He can even go to work on it. How many knows that? When you come to the altar to pray to be forgiven your sins, it isn’t ‘cause you cry, it isn’t because you confess. It’s because you believe. And when you believe and stand up and testify…Now, watch. You go outside after you accepted Christ, the old crowd says, “You’re no different. There’s nothing different.” But you believe you’re different. Well, if you go say, “No, I guess I didn’t get it.” Well, you just got another trip to the altar coming.

20 If John D. Rockefeller would offer me a check tonight to build a new church for a—a million dollars, I wouldn’t be afraid to fill it out. No, sir, because I believe John D. Rockefeller’s worth it. And if Jesus Christ offered me a check tonight to, for my sickness, that He healed me at Calvary, I’m not afraid to fill it out and hand it in there; go testifying that God has healed me. No matter what the results is, I believe Jesus told the truth. See? That—that’s where it comes from. It’s what you believe, your attitude towards Jesus.
21 Look at Saint Mark 11:24. Jesus said, “Whatsoever things you desire when you pray, believe you receive it.” That’s the order of the Word, now. “Believe now you receive it; it shall be given unto you.” Is that right? You shall have whatever you’ve asked for if you believe it. And now, He…If Jesus paid for it there, why, I believe it, I accept it, believe it, and go testifying. God has brought the…

46 And the best that I know how to do, Christian friend, is just to give out these cards and…But—but, friends, did you notice, there’s more people gets healed out there without cards, than there is healed here with the cards. See? There’s more…
You don’t need the card; the card’s just merely keep you lined up. But let’s just—let’s just believe Him, will you? Believe Him with all your heart; accept Him. No matter what happens, it don’t have to happen right now. When—when it happens, it doesn’t happen in your crippled arm, in your crippled leg so much, or in your bad heart, or the cancer; it happens here in your heart. You believe it; you hold it, and it materializes.
47 Every seed will bring forth of its kind, is that right? Wheat will bring forth a wheat. Barley will bring barley. Corn will bring corn. Is that right?
Well, Jesus said the Word of God was a Seed. Is that right? Now, Mark 11:24 a Seed then? Jesus said, “Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe you receive it, and you shall have it.” Now look, the—the order of the Scripture. Believe now; you receive it, present tense; in the future, it’ll be given to you. “Whatsoever things you desire, if you pray, believe you receive them, and it shall be given unto you.” See? You shall receive it in the future. Just accept it; believe it; stay with it. Water it; believe it; it’ll come to pass. God’s under obligation, isn’t He? God’s under obligation to His Word.

46 Now, quickly, before the time gets away. Notice close… I’ll put it in my own words. See? And I was quoting His words. He said, “Fear not, for I am sent from the Presence of God to tell you that your peculiar birth and life, to indicate that you’re to take a gift of Divine healing to the peoples of the world. You be sincere when you pray, and get the people to believe you, nothing shall stand before your prayer, not even to cancer.”
Now, watch the order. God sent the gift nearly forty years, about forty years ago. It’s been in the world ever since. This pardoning.
Now, the thing I was to do, was to pray for the sick and be sincere when I prayed, and nothing would stand before the prayer. “If you can get the people to believe you…” See the order now? See? The thing of it is, it’s…The thing is, is to get the people to believe that this is the truth.
47 And I said to the Angel…Now, you got that part, have you? The gift is not to the discernment; the gift is to pray for the sick, and get them to believe you. You get what I mean? Nothing shall stand before the prayer, not even to cancer. That’s just to pray for the sick, and tell them.
Said, “Now, you’re…” I’m going to pray for you. You believe? I believe with all my heart, and lay hands over on them, and pray for them, and ask the blessing in the Name of the Lord Jesus, pass them on.

Luke 1:5-25 5There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth. 6And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. 7And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years. 8And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest’s office before God in the order of his course, 9According to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. 10And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense. 11And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. 12And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. 13But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. 14And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 15For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb. 16And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. 18And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years. 19And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. 20And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. 21And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple. 22And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless. 23And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house. 24And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying, 25Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.
Luke 1:26-38 26And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. 28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

23 Watch when the Angel of the Lord met Zacharias and told him up there he was going to have a son by his wife Elisabeth. “Why,” he said, “these things can’t be. She’s too old, and I’m old.”
He said, “I’m Gabriel that stands at the right hand of God, and in His Presence of God. Because you doubted My Words, you’ll be dumb till the day the baby’s born, for My Words is going to be fulfilled in its season.”
Then he was stricken dumb till the day the child was born. They said…They called him John, his mother did. And they said, called her up, a writing tablet for him; he said his name. He should be. He said his name is John. God had already named him.
24 Then when the Holy Spirit, the Angel of God, Gabriel goes down into the city of Nazareth to little Mary, He gave to a—a widower.
Here she is with the oriental type, probably with a water on her head, packing it up to the washing, walking along the streets. And all at once a Light flashes before her. She stops. She thinks, “This is strange.”
Then something begin to materialize in that Light. She looked standing there, and there stood the great Archangel. Said, “Hail, Mary.” It frightened the little virgin. Said, “Blessed art thou among women.” She was frightened. It would frighten you. It frightened me. There He was, said, “You’re going to have a baby, knowing no man.” She didn’t argue about it. Said, “The Holy Ghost is coming upon you, and—and overshadowing you. And the Holy Thing will called the Son of God.”
She said, “Behold, the handmaid of the Lord. Be it unto me according to Thy Word.” Instead of arguing and questioning, and going along like Zacharias, she just took God at His Word. God, give Zion tonight some Marys that’ll take…
25 She went out testifying that she was going to have a baby, knowing no man, before she had any physical evidence at all. Oh, my. What did she have? God’s Word. That’s all that she needed. She went out, said, “I’m having a baby.”
“Have you felt life?”
“No, sir.”
“Are you positive?”
“I’m positive.”
“Well, if you haven’t felt life; there’s nothing. How do you know you going to have it?”
“God said so. That settles it.”
“Are you going to get well?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Have you got any evidence?”
“Yes, sir.”
“What is it?”
“God said so.” That’s right. It’s good enough for me.

46 Now, to you people here in a wheelchair, if those people here last night walked from a wheelchair; if this man from a crippled bed, and so forth for all those years, it’s so in your case. Amen.
All right. Notice, there he was. He went home. And after the days his wife conceived. And at the point she was about six months, along something like that, then God sent Gabriel back again. Amen. Here he come. I see a little old girl living down there in Nazareth, just the—out of a poor humble family (And her name was Mary.), about eighteen years old, engaged to a man that had been married before, had some children.
And here they come along. She’s walking. Maybe it’s wash day. She’s got the water on her head. Maybe it’s Oriental type packing water from the well. And all at once a big bright light flashed before her. And there in the bright light stood Gabriel, the Angel of God. Said, “Hail, Mary. Blessed art thou among women. You’ve found favor with God. And you’re going to have a child, knowing no man. And He’ll be called the Son of God.”
47 Look, the priest doubted Gabriel’s word. But Mary…And he had something to believe that’d happened before that time; but Mary didn’t have nothing: never a baby had been born without being, well, like man and wife. But she was going to have a baby by the Holy Spirit. And instead of doubting him, she said, “Behold, the handmaid of the Lord. Be it unto me according to Thy Word.” Hallelujah. Oh, that’s what we need is some more Marys. Take God at His Word.
She didn’t wait till she felt life; she started right then testifying she was going to have a baby. Hallelujah. As soon as God’s Word sinks in your heart, get up and give a testimony, and…“Hallelujah.” That’s it. When God takes the Holy Spirit and brings that Word to you and makes It alive to you, a reality that your faith, stand up and claim it. You don’t have to feel nothing, see nothing, or nothing; you have to believe something. Amen. I’m not amening myself, but it means “so be it.”

21 … Now, look at the difference between Zacharias, that minister, who had studied the Scriptures over and over, and over and over, and over and over again, had plenty of examples: There was Sarah, and Hannah, and so forth, back in the Old Testament, plenty examples. He—he doubted it to be so. But this little girl didn’t doubt. She said, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to Thy Word.” What a difference.
22 Now, sometimes you can callous yourself. Reading the Bible, and just like reading a newspaper, and having about the same kind of faith that would, you have in one, then you callous yourself. When you read God’s Word, believe It just like It says It is there, and take God at His Word.
Now, as soon as she read this, or she seen this before her, and the Angel of the Lord said, “You’re going to have a baby.” Look what she had to believe. Well, **she had to believe something that had never happened. Zacharias didn’t have to…**Plenty times did that happen through the Scriptures. He had plenty of examples. But Mary had to believe something that was total impossible, and had never happened before. But yet, she didn’t stagger at it; she just said, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it unto me.” She took God at His Word.
And today, right here now, while hundreds of people around the world has been healed in these great campaigns in this latter revival that’s sweeping the world. Right today, right at this minute, dozens, and scores of people, in meetings here in the United States, are being healed right now by the power of God; plenty of examples, every day, every night. And yet, we set and wonder, “God, why don’t You do this,” and, “why don’t You do that?” Take God at His Word.
23 Mary said, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord.” She started rejoicing. She was happy. God had promised it; she knowed she was going to have the baby. I believe I spoke something about it last night. She didn’t wait till she felt life. She didn’t wait till she was positive. She didn’t wait till any visible sign. She just believed what the Angel said was the Truth. There you are.
The trouble of it is, we question God. And if we question God, we can’t believe God. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things you don’t see, taste, feel, smell, or hear. Amen.
I begin to feel a little religious right now. I…All right. Oh, take God at His Word. She begin to rejoice and praise God, just as soon as she heard. “Faith cometh by hearing, hearing by the Word of God.” Is that right? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] “Faith cometh by hearing.”
24 Soon as you hear the Word of God that says you can be set free, believe it. Rejoice with it. God will show the evidence after you’ve accepted it. But first you accept it.
Christ died for sinners. I believe it. I accept it. I start rejoicing. God works righteousness by it.
I believe He was striped for my healing. I believe it. I accept it. God’s works healing for me. See? Just as soon as I believe. He can’t help me till I believe. I’ve got to believe and confess it first, and then God’s under obligation to His Word.
And if He’s Almighty God, He can do all things. And if He cannot do all things, He’s not Almighty God. There it is. All right…

37 But look at Mary, when the Holy Ghost told her, “You’re going to have a child, knowing no man.” She didn’t reason it. She just took Him at his Word. There you are. And she went around testifying that she was going to have a baby, knowing no man, before she was positive of anything. Oh, I hope you see it. She took God at His Word. She didn’t wait. Excuse this expression. You’d listen to a doctor; I’m your brother. She didn’t wait till she felt life; she didn’t wait till something taken place, that she could see naturally that she was going to be mother. She just took the Angel’s Word. When the Angel said, “You’re going to have this baby knowing no man…”
She said, “Behold, the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to Thy Word.”
And she went around rejoicing, that she was going to have the baby before she had one evidence that the baby was coming, outside the Word of God. Oh, sister, do that tonight, you, and you, and all of you. Take God at His Word and start rejoicing. Saying, “God said so; that settles it. I will rejoice anyhow. I don’t have to feel nothing or nothing else; I just believe it.” Oh, and you’ll see an old fashion revival sweep this country, burning out sin. And every church will fill up and what a time it will be. If men and women will do that much, take God at His Word, and be expecting Him to do what He said He would do…You’re the children of Abraham; that’s only to the promise.

18 In other words, I can hear Peter say, “Well, Lord, why, we’re fishermen. Why, we—we was born and raised on this sea here. Why, we know when the moon’s right, and when all the signs are right. There’s not even a fish in that water. Well, we toiled all night long. And we know when the signs are right, and we never even took one fish. We took nothing. And then You come around and tell me to go back in the same waters where I’ve been seining? And let down and get a whole boat full of them? Why, it couldn’t be.” If he’d have said that, then he wouldn’t have got them.
But he said, “Lord, I’ve toiled all night, and have taken nothing: but nevertheless, at Thy Word I’m going to let down the net.” There you are. There’s the secret: Taking God at His Word.
If there was no fish there, God’s able to put fish there. He did do it. That same net that went through that water all night long and caught nothing, but look when God said, “Put it down there.”
Matthew 14:28-29 28And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

35 Well, the Christian, the believer, is sowed with the incorruptible Word of God, how can It produce anything else? See? That’s it. It makes you live a different person.
Now, “At Thy Word Lord, I’ll let down the net.” And when he pulled the draught of fishes, he was astonished. And Jesus said to him, said “Don’t fear from henceforth you’ll catch men.” Oh, “At Thy Word, Lord.”
36 I think of Peter when the Lord told him, said, “Come,” walking on the waters. Why, Peter never walked on water, never heard of anybody else ever walking on water. “I don’t know how to walk on water, Lord, but at Thy Word, here I come.” And he did. That’s right.
The woman that…Oh, many times we just call off different things in the Scriptures if we had time, of the people who have things…Mary had never knowed about how a baby could be born a virgin birth, but she took God at His Word. “At Thy Word, Lord.” She went testifying before anything happened; she testified it was going to happen because she took God at His Word.
And let’s us this afternoon take God at His Word now, and here’s what He said in His Word, “Whatsoever things,” Mark 11:24, “whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive it, and it shall be given unto you.” You’ll have it. Now, isn’t that simple?
… Now, I see visions over the people, but I can’t say that they’re healed until He tells me their healed. And He can’t tell till your faith actually acts. And your faith acting will bring God’s Word to pass. You’ve got to believe it, accept it, testify it. Say, “I receive it now, Lord, and that settles it forever. 20 But let this be the time that they’ll say like Peter, “At Thy Word, Lord. I’m going to let down the net. I’m going to trust You right tonight. This is the night. This is the time. From this night, I’ll trust You. I’ll set my affections on things above.” We know that Thy Word says that You’re the High Priest setting at the right hand of His Majesty to make intercessions upon our confession. What we say that You’ve done, that’s what You do. But if we not…Don’t confess it, if we’re afraid, then You can’t help us.
So we pray, God that You’ll give each man and woman, boy, or girl in here tonight, courage, real conviction, faith, that’ll look up there and see that Son of God setting there in His Majesty, the power of His Spirit moving in His Church, then not be afraid. Say, “By His stripes I’m healed, and I go believing it.” Then You’re the High Priest. You’ll start confessing that in heaven just when we confess it here. But You can’t do it, until we first say You’ve done it. For it’s a confession, and that means “say the same thing.” We have to say what You say about it. We’ve already been healed, so we accept it. Send the Angel of God, Lord, the great Leader, the Holy Spirit, to guide Your Church into all truth tonight.
Help Your poor, unprofitable, unworthy servant standing here, Lord, as I try to represent [Blank spot on tape—Ed.] to the people, for I ask it in Christ’s Name. Amen.
23 But when you believe you have, you say, “Yes, I am.” Then you believe you’re a Christian; you can’t show nothing that you are. But you believe you are. You believe you are. And then when you confess that you are, and when you confess Him, and He confesses you, He’s a High Priest working on what? Not on your crying, not on your repenting, not on your faith, but on your confession. No matter how much faith you got, it’ll never do you any good, till you put works with it. For faith without works is dead. Is that right? Just like this…
24 He can only do as you say, because He’s the High Priest of what you confess. And He’s there before the Presence of the Majesty to make good anything that His redemptive blessings calls for, His sacrifice. That’s what He paid for, and standing there to make good to you anything that you say, that you accepted what He has done. What was He done?

And at nighttime I just wonder which, what to say that He’d want me to tell you of some of the things He’s done, just as a testimony. And He said I believe we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the testimony, is that right? He’s the High Priest of our testimony…

64 When that great redeemed host stands around the throne of God waving the white palms of the—the palms in their hands and the white robes washed in the Blood of the Lamb, “We’ll tell the story how we’ve overcome…” How did we overcome? By the Blood of the Lamb and their testimony. Hallelujah. What is their testimony? Jesus lives. Oh, let it ring out through the mountains to the hills, send the message far and wide, Jesus lives. He’s not dead but He’s alive. I’m so happy to stand here in the—one of the major cities of the world, Chicago, Illinois, and claim that Jesus Christ raised from the dead, and by His grace can prove it to you. Amen.
Then let your sin cease. Take the idols from your hearts, and believe on the living God, and accept the blessings that He died for and appropriated for you. Put your faith into action.

39 Now, why did he…Why didn’t he go over there and clean out all the—all the Philistines and so forth? And I’d say, “Come on.” You got something to do too. God just don’t poke things down your neck. You’ve got to believe it; you’ve got to do some fighting.
As Peter Cartwright said to the drunkard that day, many of you has read his, told him, said, “What are you going to do here?”
Said, “I’m going to hold a meeting.”
Said, “Who told you?”
Said, “The Lord.”
Said, “You got to whip me first.”
Said, “Well, if that’s my next job, all right.” Undone his coat, beat him up, got on top of him, get beat him in the face, said, “I must fight if I should reign, increase my courage, Lord.” Beat the guy up.
Said, “You got enough?”
Said, “Yep.”
Shook his hand, come on back and got saved.
That’s what we need. You got to do some fighting, not with your fists, but with the power of God with your testimony. That’s how you overcome, by the Blood of the Lamb and your testimony. Tell the devil he’s got no strings tied to you. “You’ve put this disease on me, but Jesus Christ delivered me from it. He promised it to me.”

51 Now listen, when you’re watching for the Holy Spirit, now there’s nobody believes in shouting and rejoicing in the Spirit any more than I do, because I believe that anything’s got life has emotion. And if your religion hasn’t got some life in it, you’d better bury it. It’s dead. It brings emotion.
But while we’re coming to God, let’s come reverently, quietly, listening to see what He will say. And then when He does something for us, that’s the time to let the glory of God reign from our hearts.
Be reverent, watch, and if out in the meeting at any time you feel that God has spoke to your heart while this line’s a going through, then you raise your hands and say, “Thank You, Lord Jesus, for healing me.”
Let…Then tell somebody sitting by you. By the Blood of the Lamb and their testimony they overcame. Is that right? You overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and by your testimony. If we can just have faith and believe in the Lord God that He will do these things for us.

45 O God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and as this is closing our services on this tour, for this beautiful, wonderful, God save America. O God, send the Angels of God down tonight, and may there be such an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, till literally every person in the building be healed. Grant it, Lord. Please hear my prayer, God, as I try and serve You, pleading everything I’ve got. God, while we’re trying to do something for You, help me, dear Jesus to be Your servant. And may many, many, many people’s in this building tonight, every one that’s sick and afflicted, be made completely well.
And Lord, how happy we’ll be for this. And we’ll give You all the praise, all the glory. We know that Thou art here to make well, to answer. You’re a loving Father, a Go-between, standing between sickness and death. Oh, how wonderful You are. Amazing grace, how You saved us by Your grace, healed us by Your stripes, made us completely overcomers of all things in the beloved Son of God. Now, grant a great outpouring tonight, in the Name of Thy Son Jesus. Amen.
How Can I Overcome?

178 Overcome how? By taking the Word, the promise, in humility, humbly walking.
This consecrated cross I’ll bear
Until death shall set me free,
Then go Home, a crown to wear…
Let us pray.
181 Lord Jesus, hour and fifteen minutes now, standing here, trying to take Your Word and explain to the people how to overcome. You told us how it’s done. You didn’t only tell us, but You showed how it was done. You led us. You showed us how to do it: receive the Word inside of us, and be sure to hold to that Word, “It is written,” in every temptation; but be humble, walk humbly. Then we have conquered, through You, through Your power which has already conquered our enemy. And the only thing we have to do is—is just walk humble with faith, believing That, and our badge of identification of the Holy Ghost, and Satan has to move.

106 Look what Satan did when Jesus laid the Word down on him. “And It’s also written…” He jumped away from that Wire, as I said the other night. Yes, sir. Then what, after you overcome? How do you overcome? Could you ever do it by yourself? No. Somebody went before you and overcome for you. It’s Christ. I’m just an heir of it. I don’t have to do anything. I’m an heir of the promise. The only thing I have to have, is put my faith on His promise. Do you see it?

18 Now, the only thing that a Divine gift can do is to stir your faith to that. Ministers preach the Gospel which is just as good as anything else could be done. Better! If a person can just take God at His Word, and see the work finished there at Calvary, and accept it in their own life, that settles it right there. That’s—that’s all—all is necessary. Then God in His goodness after that has sent gifts, besides that, into the church to manifest His love and His promises to the people. See what I mean? But every individual must look to Calvary. There’s where it comes from is Calvary.
19 Now, it’s just like this: God pla-…put the Blood of Jesus Christ in a deposit box at Calvary to heal all manner of sickness and diseases, and give every believer a checkbook with His Name signed on the bottom of it. The only thing you have to do is fill out the check and send it in for any redemptive blessings that Jesus Christ died for. You believe that? Don’t be afraid.

39 Now, the thing it is, is a…is to get the difference between what is the Spirit of God, and what is the spirit of the devil. And then by the atonement in Calvary, that devil is cast out. And I’ll assure you, if the believer will come and believe, right here presently no matter what’s wrong with it, it’ll take place right here. That’s right. You’ve never seen it fail, and it—and it won’t. But now, if you go out of here and disbelieve, or just with a little weak faith, it’ll come right back on you, even worse than what it was in the first place.
For the unclean spirit goes out of a man, he walks in dry places. Is that right? Then he returns back, and if the good man of the house isn’t there to keep him away…You must take God at His Word, not your feelings, but take God at His Word. Your faith keeps him away. Just refuse it. He will torment, and peck at your door, and haunt at your windows, but just turn your head and keep on looking forward towards Christ and going on…

“At Thy word, Lord, I’m going to rise up from here. I don’t know how I’m going to do it, but at Thy Word, Lord.” That’s it. Take God at His Word, and God’s spoken Word must—will materialize and produce just exactly what It says It will.
Listen. The right mental attitude towards any Divine promise of God will bring it to pass. I don’t care what it is. If—if you plant, if you want corn, you plant corn, water corn, leave corn alone. It’ll produce corn. Is that right? Wheat will produce wheat.
The promise of salvation will produce a Christian. The promise of the Holy Ghost will bring It to you. The promise of Divine healing will make you well. Any Divine promise of God…And the Bible said that the Word of God is a Seed. Is that right?
51 Jesus said that a sower sowed. And if you’ll just take It in your heart and don’t dig It up every day to see how it’s getting along. Just sink It in your heart and settle It. That’s all. Walk right on. God will take care of the rest of it. He’s obligated to His Word.

36 Now, we, if it don’t happen right now, oh tomorrow, we’d say, “You know, I—I…Last night I thought I was healed, but today, I don’t know, I feel as bad as I ever did.” See? How can God do any thing for you like that? You call yourself a seed of Abraham then? The seed of Abraham don’t take that “no” for an answer. The seed of Abraham believes it anyhow, regardless of how you feel. That’s right. It’s not by feeling; it’s by faith.
Jesus never did say, “Did you feeled it?” He said, “Did you believe it?” That’s the thing. “Did you believe it?” That’s the main thing, if you believe. “All things are possible, not to him that feeleth, but him that believeth.” Put the Word where it belongs. Oh, I—I begin to feel religious, right now. Think of it. If we can take God at His Word, believe It, that settles it. God promised it; that’s all that’s necessary.

39 I think today, that great men has swept this nation back and forth, Jack Shulers, Billy Grahams, many others has went over, and over, and over, and over through the nation, and go right back the same year, and find the same group that he preached to just as far deluded in sin as they ever was. Because man can’t save you, when man can only make an altar call, but it’s your individual—or personal faith and trust in God to plunge beneath the Blood, and to be filled with His Spirit, and by become a partakers of the Divine, not a partaker of the church, a partaker of the Divine. The Divine nature changing your own vile nature into a nature that loves God, who believes every Word that He said is the truth, and accepting it as your own personal gift from God.
40 When a believer comes like that, God gives him a checkbook for any redemptive blessing He died for, and Jesus’ Name is signed at the bottom of it. Are you afraid to fill it out? But you once get in contact with God, and the Holy Spirit make Christ real to your heart, you’re not afraid to take God at His Word any time or believe, ‘cause you’ve been in contact with the supernatural. You’ve come back into fellowship; you’ve come back in reconciliation through the Blood, and believe God, and know you—you’ve been in His Divine Presence.

34 When a man once catches that vision of the invisible God, and know that He’s always present, there is something that stabilizes that man’s thinking. It stabilizes his actions. And in the time of distress and trouble, it’ll still make him look upward and above the things that are happening around him, because he’s looking at the Unseen, yet, by promise.
35 Now, how Abraham, not only did he see the Unseen…And the reason he believed it, was because God said it. “And if we being dead in Christ, we are Abraham’s Seed. And if the Spirit that was in Christ dwells in us, It does the same thing. It takes every Divine promise of God that’s in His Bible, and calls It present tense, and rests Itself upon there.
36 Where, if you look at, with your eyes, and you see now that our nation is shaking and trembling. Wars’ clouds are flying everywhere; every nation under distressed and perplexed of time. Every sign, that Jesus said would happen, is happening. “There would be signs in the heavens above and in the earth below.” And great things would be taking place, like the flying saucers and mystic things taking place.
37 But He commanded His Church to lift up their heads, in that day, and to look up, for the unseen Christ will be appearing pretty soon. So if we only walk by sight, we would be children of darkness, sure enough now. But I’m so glad to know that there is a Light that shines in every believer’s heart, until that Eternal Day when Jesus shall come.

14 “Oh,” you say, “I believe it to be that all these things passed with the apostles.” See, you keep the door closed. Christ will come into the midst of the people and do signs and wonders on people. And they let that little compartment stay shut. “Oh, it might be all right for her, but for me, my case is different.” There is no difference with Christ. He’s no respect of person, none at all. Cancer or a toothache, it matters not with Him, if He can be Lord over the matter. You just don’t open up that heart to let Him in that faith door, so He can be Ruler.

Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. 9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God. 10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her: 11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. 12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. 13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. 14 And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

38 Notice, then when Abraham was a hundred years old, ninety and nine, in the 17th chapter of the book of Genesis, ninety and nine, and that would make Sarah ninety years old. Still giving praise to God, giving glory to Him, because they believed His Word. They knew it was the Truth. And God appeared to Abraham again, and this time when He appeared to him, He appeared to him in the name of the Almighty God. And the Almighty God in Hebrew is El Shaddai.
Now, the word “El” means “God.” “Shad” means “breast,” breast like the woman. “Shaddai” is the plural: breasted. Therefore, He appeared to Abraham as the breasted God, the strong One. “I am thy consolation; I am thy strength. You’re a old man Abraham; your—your days are gone, as far as strength is concerned, but I am El Shaddai.” Not just one but two: He was wounded for our transgressions, with His stripe we were healed. “I’m El Shaddai; just lean onto My bosom, and nurse your strength back again.”
39 And He’s still Almighty God, that any believing child of Abraham can, if he is sinful, He’s Jehovah-jireh, for one breast. If he’s sick, He’s Jehovah-rapha, on the other side.
And just like a little sick baby that’s fretting and weak, it’s mother picks it up; she puts it to her breast, and the little baby begins draw the mother’s strength through the breast. And we, who have lost our health, sick, run-down, what do we do? We come up to Jehovah by faith. We lean on His breast, His promise, and there draw our strength through His promise.
The sons of Abraham’s not scared to do that. In the face of anything, they’ll still believe it and hold onto it—sons of Abraham—El Shaddai.
Isaiah 60:16 16Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
Isaiah 60:16 (CJB) 16 You will drink the milk of nations, You will nurse at royal breastsand know that I, ADONAI, am your Savior, that I am the Mighty One of Ya’akov.
Psalm 103:1-3 1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities who healeth all thy diseases.

40 Not only is the baby—not only is the baby drawing its strength, but it’s satisfied while it’s a drawing. When the baby’s nursing, he shuts up. He’s a nursing, so he’s satisfied as long as he’s drawing his strength. And if the believer ever gets a hold of God by His promise, though his hand’s still crippled, his cancer still shows, he’s satisfied. He’s drawing his strength out of God’s promise. Amen.
You’re going to call me a holy-roller anyhow, so I just might as well get started now.
Oh, it’s enough to shake you. If there’s anything in you to shake. Yes. When the Holy Spirit gives God’s promise, and the believer catches a hold of it, all devils in torment can’t take him away from there. He stands there; he will call everything, death itself, he’ll defy it in the face, when God has give him the promise. Amen.
El Shaddai. “I’m your bosom, Abraham. That’s how I’m going to do it.” …

111 When that Spirit is in there, It takes hold of God’s Eternal Word, and It calls everything contrary to It as though it wasn’t, no matter what that takes place, what the world says, what anything else says. If God has made the promise, the man that’s endued with that Spirit will hold onto that promise of God, ‘cause there’s nothing else in his way.
112 The Church is pure. The Church is purged by the Holy Spirit. Their conscience, the fears of doubt and unbelief is taken away. And when they hear God’s Word say a certain thing, they believe It. Oh! They hold onto It. They just don’t move from It.
113 And the world today, my friend, is wanting to see people that’s united with Christ, to display the real genuine Spirit of Christ. Gallant heroes!
They Shall Recover
Psalm 118:17 17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
James 5:15 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

129 Now watch. “The prayer of faith shall save the sick. If they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover.” He told Noah it was going to rain. It never—He never…I never said, “As soon as—as you’re prayed for, you’re going to be well.” He said, “They shall recover.”
130 He told Noah it was going to rain. It never rained for a hundred and twenty years, but it rained.
Told Abraham he was going to have a baby by Sarah. It never happened for twenty-five years, but had it.
Told Isaiah a virgin was going to conceive. It never happened for eight hundred years, but she conceived.
Is that right? He promised it! No matter how long it takes, He does it, anyhow. You believe that.

34 Again, He wants to call the attention of this court to the Word of promise that’s in question. He never set any certain time for them to recover. He said, “The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and God shall raise them up.” He didn’t say “right then.” “They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” He never said, “a day, month, year.” He just said, “They shall!” The Defense Witness wants you to know that, that He didn’t say there’d be a miracle performed. He just said, “They shall recover!” Interpret the Word right. “They shall recover.” He never set any certain time. And, that is, if they are believers! If they are believers, it shall recover. “They’ll lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover,” whether it’s now, a week, month, year, ten years, twenty years, fifty years. “They will recover,” He said so! That is, if they can hold onto their believing…

89 …You know, sometimes, to be honest it’s not a easy path. But as long as God stands there! It wasn’t easy for Luther, Wesley, or none of the rest. It isn’t easy for you or anybody else that takes a stand. But this afternoon you’ve got to make your stand. He never said…He said, “They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” If you believe it, then I don’t care if it happens right here, if it happens next week, it happens twenty years from today; if you absolutely believe it, it’s got to happen…

87 Again, the defense Witness wants to call the attention of the—of the Word that’s in question here, that we have just read, that the prosecutor is trying to get a case of indictment against the Word. Defense Witness wants to call your attention, that it never set any certain time for deliverance. He never said when. He just said, “They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” He didn’t say they’d jump up right then. The Word doesn’t say that. James 5:14 said, “When you’re anointed with oil,” he said, “the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and God shall raise them up.” It didn’t say they’d jump up right then. It didn’t say. Mark 16 didn’t say they’ll lay hands on the sick and there’ll be a miracle performed. He just said, “They shall recover.” It promised it.
88 Now, see if there’s been some of these unbelievers has been misinterpreting the Word to you, saying, “Well, this one was prayed for. Why didn’t they get up? I was at the meeting. I never seen nothing happen.” See that interpreter they got? See what they’re listening to?
89 The defense Witness wants to show to this court, this afternoon, that the Word didn’t say they would jump up right then. He said, “They shall recover.” That’s what He promised. He never set any certain time. And that was only to believers.
