2 Chronicles 5:12-14 12Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:) 13It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; 14So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

What happened here? Heaven invaded Earth!

As air is the atmosphere of the earth, glory is the atmosphere of Heaven. It lifts us up above the earthly into the very presence of God.

14 Remember, that we mustn’t never come to church to play religious. We mustn’t come to just put on a religious act to go to church. We must come to worship in Spirit and in truth. We must be deeply and sincerely We must really mean what we’re coming here for. The days are getting evil. The time is evil. And we want to—we want to make every minute count, and especially when we’re in the house of the Lord.

  • Praise until the spirit of worship comes.
  • Worship until the glory comes.
  • Then stand in the glory.

Sis. Ruth Ward Heflin

“But, if we want to experience deep worship, we need vibrant praise first. If we have vibrant praise, then we’ll have deep worship. And we’ll have the fullness of the glory of God manifested.”

Praise … until the spirit of worship comes.

Psalms 24:1-10 (KJV) 1The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. 3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. 7Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 8Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. 9Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 10Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

  • To compliment
  • To commend
  • To applaud
  • To extol

Psalm 89:1 I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

Revelation 19:5-6 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

Hosea 2:19-23 19And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. 20I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD. 21And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth; 22And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel. 23And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.

822 In the beginning We’ll go back to our Hebrew teaching just for a few minutes. God was this great, big fountain of seven colors. How many knows that? See? And how many knows that God has seven Spirits? Absolutely, seven Spirits

Life

57-0602 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

59 The great fountain of all Eternity was that Spirit of love, joy, that Spirit of honesty, that Spirit of trueness, in this perfection. And then, out of the existence of the Father, went the Logos, which was the Son, which was a Theophany, which was the Body of the great Jehovah God, went forth in a celestial Body. That’s the Logos. The Word spoke out of them great fountains of Life, and went forth. And there was the—the Theophany, which was God made into Word.

60 Then that Theophany was made flesh, in the person Christ Jesus.

Watch carefully now and see this. Before there was ever a speck of star dust; before God was God (God is an object of adoration and no one was there to worship Him, so He was at that time only potentially God). and He was known only as eternal Spirit, the bride was already in His mind. Yes, she was. She was existing in His thoughts. And what about those thoughts of God? They are eternal, are they not?

John 4: 21-24 21Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Revelation 22:8-9 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

1 Chronicles 28:2 Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: as for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the foot- stool of our God, and had made ready for the building:

Psalm 132:7 We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.

Psalms 24:7-10 7Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Selah.

Revelation 1:17-18 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.*

Song of Songs 1:2-3 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine. Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.

29 I know that each one of you, if you feel like I do, I am so hungry to see the Spirit of God moving, I just can’t hardly stand it. Some experiences I’ve just had up in the mountain, just to feel that once again, that Something that when I was first saved was so glorious to my heart! And we can come into a place, we can sit and we see it among us, that we are drying. As we sit here in the desert, I get among my brethren, they talk with me and I talk with them; always, in a little way of watching, feeling out there with the Spirit, as it was, to see just the condition of that brother, to see what’s wrong. I begin to feel us all reclining, getting away from the Spirit. It’s become too natural a thing to us. We must worship in the Spirit, where the Spirit of God Not only our Message should be the flame of the hour, it should be the flame in our hearts. See? It’s got to be in our hearts, or we can’t—we can’t rightly present It to the people. The Spirit has to pack the Message, Itself. And I’m trusting and believing in every one of you, to be a real Christian.

Then … stand in the glory!

  • The word “glory” appears over 402 times in 371 verses in the Bible.
  • The word Glory is used to describe the splendor and majesty of God’s presence. It comes from the Hebrew word “kabod” which means “weighty”.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 17Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 3:18 18But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

  • Beholding: to show in a mirror, to make to reflect, to mirror, to look at one’s self in a mirror, to behold one’s self in a mirror.
  • In 2 Corinthians 3:18, Weymouth translates, “We mirror the glory of the Lord.” With unveiled faces we looking as in a mirror, catch the light and reflect the glory of the Lord.
  • Changed: transfigure, transform, to change into another form, to transform, to transfigure, i.e. Christ appearance was changed and was resplendent with divine brightness on the mount of transfiguration Mt. 17:2

The Unveiling Of God

64-0614M · Jeffersonville, Indiana

312 “And it shall come to pass in the last days,” saith God. See, here we are, the—the Light over the Word. As the light of the sun changes the seed from glory to glory, we also became—become more like Him as we live in His Presence; like Him, being conformed to His blessed image as we walk with Him.

313 Watch what the sun does. You plant a seed, what happens? That seed rots. Inside the seed is a life. The life comes forth and brings forth a stalk. Now, that don’t look like the first.

There is Luther. It was a stalk. All right.

The stalk went on and, the first thing you know, it brought forth a tassel. See, that was the Wesleyan revival; wasn’t like the other.

Then along come the Pentecostal revival, see, brought forth the baptism of the Holy Ghost. All right.

What happened? We get fungus on the ear. It begins to look wrong. This thing, that thing, it don’t look like the Word. It’s not like the rest of It. It’s not like the original Grain went in.

314 But God is still there to make that—that just the same. Notice, what does it do? It finally returns back to the original Seed again. When He come in the form of Martin Luther; when He come in the form of John Wesley; when He come in the form of the Pentecostal; He is supposed to reveal Himself again like the same Seed went in, the Son of man. He revealed Hisself as Son of God, through the stalk age and so forth, but in this last age He’s to reveal Hisself as Son of man again. Get it? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] All right, like the beginning, molded!

The Mighty God Unveiled Before Us

156 Now, the Word is a Seed, and It cannot bring forth until the She- the Son strikes It. The Son has got to be upon the Seed, to make It bear, to make It come forth. And that’s the only way. You take the Word, see, take the Word of God in your heart, and walk into the Shekinah Glory. And when you do, It’ll bring shewbread, Manna, that’s only give for a separated people. The only thing that can eat it, that’s permitted to eat it, is just the people who are permitted and knows It. Paul said here, “Changing from Glory to Glory.” You see, finally, It comes till It’s back to Its original Glory.

157 It’s just like a seed of a morning glory. The seed of a flower, it falls into the ground. The seed of corn falls in the ground. What’s the first thing? It comes up, and it’s a little sprout. Then it goes to a tassel. Then, from a tassel, back to its original grain.

158 Well, that’s exactly what the Church has done. It come from Luther, Wesley, and now back to the original Grain, back to Its original Glory, back to the Glory It was at the beginning. The Son that rose in the East, it’s the same Son that’s manifesting the same thing in the West, changing from Glory to Glory. It changed from the pagan, down into Luther; and from Luther, down into Wesley; from Wesley, out into Pentecost; and on and on, changing from Glory to Glory, producing the hidden Manna.

159 And now It’s ripe, to bring Him back exactly like He was at the beginning, His same ministry; the same Jesus, the same power, the same Holy Ghost. The same One that come down on the Day of Pentecost, is the same Holy Ghost that’s manifested today, from Glory unto Glory, to Glory. And is back to Its original Seed, with the baptism of the Holy Ghost; with the same signs, same wonders, same baptism; same kind of people, acting the same way, with the same power, the same sensation. It’s from Glory unto Glory. And the next will be, “Changed from this Glory, into a body like His Own glorious body, where we shall see Him.” Abraham saw the same.

160 Now notice. We see how it was changed. Since Calvary, we are invited to share His Glory. Now, in First Corinthians 12, “We are baptized into His Body. By one Spirit we are all baptized.” Not by one “water.” “One Spirit, we’re all baptized.” That’s right, now, and then we become part of Him.

An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages

Chapter 9 · The Laodicean Church Age

We haven’t seen Him, but we have felt Him. We know Him now as much as our limiting senses can let us. But one day it will be face to face. That is for this age. He is coming at the end of this age. Partial realization will be made PERFECT REALIZATION, COMPLETED REALIZATION. Hallelujah! We have been looking through a glass darkly, but soon it will be face to face. We have been going from glory to glory, but soon it will be right in the glory; and in HIS GLORY WE’LL SHINE. WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM, WONDROUSLY LIKE HIM, JESUS OUR SAVIOUR DIVINE! Isn’t that wonderful? We are complete in Him. That is true. He would not lie to us about that. But one day we will be changed in the atoms. We will put on immortality. We will be all swallowed up in life. Then we will REALIZE REALIZATION.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (AMP) 18And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

Possessing Bridal Inheritance

Steven L. Shelley

The adopted sons of the Kingdom are about to be commissioned and sent forth with the full authority of their Father. Whatever He shows them, they will do, and whatever He says, they will say. Most importantly, whatever they say, He will perform!

I believe that this maturing process is greatly accelerated as we spend time with our Bridegroom alone in the chuppah. When we linger with Him, we are changed from glory to glory.

Isaiah 4:5 (KJV) 5And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

Isaiah 4:5 (AMP) 5And the Lord will create over the whole site, over every dwelling place of Mount Zion and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a canopy (a defense of divine love and protection).

1 Corinthians 1:5-6 5That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; 6Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

1 Corinthians 1:5 (AMP) 5[So] that in Him in every respect you were enriched, in full power and readiness of speech [to speak of your faith] and complete knowledge and illumination [to give you full insight into its meaning]. 6In this way [our] witnessing concerning Christ (the Messiah) was so confirmed and established and made sure in you.

2 Peter 1:2-3 (KJV) 2Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

2 Peter 1:17 17For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

2 Peter 1:17 (AMP) 17For when He was invested with honor and glory from God the Father and a voice was borne to Him by the [splendid] Majestic Glory [in the bright cloud that overshadowed Him, saying], This is My beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased and delight,

  • Glory: (GK 1391) approval, praise, honor, glory: approval, brightness, glories, glorious, glory, honor, majesties

Sis. Ruth Ward Heflin

Someone has said that we need to go deeper in order to go higher. I believe that’s like the chicken and the egg question: which comes first, the chicken or the egg? I personally believe that we need to go higher in order to go deeper. In praise we ascend. The more exuberant the praise, the greater the depth of worship will be.

Praise brings the anointing, but worship brings the glory. If you want the glory in every service, there must also be worship in every service. Just as we praise until that anointing is increased, so we must worship until the glory comes.

In the worship realm, we are more conscious of God’s quality of love. But in the glory realm, we are more conscious of His holiness. This is why the angels cry, “Holy! Holy!”

Isaiah 6:3 3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

Hebrews 4:11 (AMP) 11Let us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter that rest [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves], that no one may fall or perish by the same kind of unbelief and disobedience [into which those in the wilderness fell].

Habakkuk 2:14 14For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

2 Corinthians 4:6 (KJV) 6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (KJV) 17Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (AMP) 17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom). 18And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

Sis. Ruth Ward Heflin

For many years I couldn’t understand why the Lord said so many times in Scripture, “Seek My face.” Since becoming a worshiper I have learned that the will of God and the purposes of God can be seen in the face of the Lord. When you are looking at His face, you know His purposes. You know His mind. You know His desires. You see His heart.

Revelation 1:12-15 12And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (KJV) 9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 (AMP) 9But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed]. 10Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man’s scrutiny].

Isaiah 40:5 (AMP) 5And the glory (majesty and splendor) of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

1 Corinthians 2:11-12 (KJV) 11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Matthew 13:11-17 11He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

1 Corinthians 14:14-15 (KJV) 14For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

Isaiah 6:1-4 1In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

Ezekiel 10:3-5 3Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court. 4Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD’S glory. 5And the sound of the cherubims’ wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.

Exodus 40:33-35 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work. 34Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 35And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

2 Chronicles 7:1-3 1Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. 2And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD’S house. 3And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

Isaiah 40:5 KJV 5And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

John 11:39-40 39Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. 40Jesus saith unto her, said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

2 Corinthians 4:6 (AMP) For God Who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts so as [to beam forth] the Light for the illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God [as it is manifest in the Person and is revealed] in the face of Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

Psalm 105:4 4Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

Psalm 105:4 (AMP) 4Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength (His might and inflexibility to temptation); seek and require His face and His presence [continually] evermore.

Jeremiah 29:13 13And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:13 (AMP) 13Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

53 That’s the same thing the believer is. There is something in him, that, when he meets God face to face, he comes to himself. That seed is in him, and it’s quickened. My, that’s right, and he flies away from the things of the world. They become dead to him. My, I remember, we all had our life, in the past, in those things of the world. But once we got a hold of that real Thing, something that quickened us, a little seed that come to Life, then all the things of the world rotted right there. We had no more desire of it.

183 Somebody said, “I sought God. I sought God.” That’s contrary to the Bible. It’s God seeking you, not you seeking God. God went up-and-down the garden of Eden, crying, “Adam, where art thou?” Not Adam crying, “God, where art Thou?” It was God crying, “Adam, where art thou?”

62 Man said, “Oh, brother, I sought God. I sought.” No man never sought God. It’s not in a man to seek God. No man at any time or at any age ever sought God. It’s just vice versa, it’s God seeking the man, not man seeking God. Jesus said, “No man can come to Me except My Father draws him.” That right?

63 The very beginning, man when he fell from grace, his nature was changed, and he run from God and hid from God, and that’s still his nature. A man can never seek God while he’s a sinner. God has to seek man.

Psalm 84:7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

Psalm 84:7 (AMP) 7They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power]; each of them appears before God in Zion.

Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Romans 1:17 (AMP) For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith.^†^

2 Peter 1:2-3 (AMP) 2May grace (God’s favor) and peace (which is perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, precise, and correct] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 3For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).

Daniel 5:12 (AMP) 12Because an excellent spirit, knowledge, and understanding to interpret dreams, clarify riddles, and solve knotty problems were found in this same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation.

91 We should be unfolding; God’s Spirit pouring out. Not just one little gusher, not one little baptism; but, baptism after baptism! Not a revelation, “just shall live by faith,” or, “sanctification,” or, “the gifts of the Spirit.” But, revelation after revelation, power after power, glory after glory! Why, we ought to be way up the road, ready for the translation. And we’re lingering back down in the old things, and saying, “Well?” We keep going back. Let’s go forward!

  • There is PROTECTION and SHELTER in the GLORY!
  • There is a SOUND OF GLORY in the VOICES of the REDEEMED!
  • The GLORY works in us to bring forth an EXCELLENCE!
  • For it is IN THE GLORY REALM that EXCELLENCE is both REVEALED and MANIFESTED!
  • The Glory Brings an Ease!
  • The Glory Brings Revelation!

The Glory Brings a Deep Knowing!

244 The mysteries, here is “the mystery.” A mystery is Scripture, a previously hidden Truth now Divinely revealed, but (which is) a supernatural element still remains despite the revelation.

An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages

Chapter 4 · The Smyrnaean Church Age

If we are to have a part in the kingdom of God, it is essential that we be able to believe and function in the realm of the spirit apart from human thought processes. -Wade E. Taylor

In being a “bride”, I am to submit myself unconditionally to the Headship of Jesus, as being my Head (obedience and submission as an overcomer), that I might become so “one” with Him (intimacy of relationship as a “bride”) that His life can be manifested and seen through my life. – Wade E. Taylor

In very plain language the True Bride of Christ was in the mind of God eternally, though not expressed until each came forth in the designated, decreed season.

As each member came forth it became EXPRESSED and took its place in the body. Thus this bride is the literal SPOKEN WORD SEED BRIDE. And though she is feminine in designation she is also called the “body of Christ.” It is very apparent that she ought to be called that for she was predestinated in Him, came from the same source, was eternal with Him, and is now manifesting God in a many-membered body whereas once God was manifested in ONE MEMBER, even our Lord Jesus Christ. Now then, here we are coming to a conclusion.

As the eternal Logos (God) was manifest in the Son, and in Jesus dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and that Eternal One was the Father manifest in flesh, and thereby gained the title of Son, even so we, eternal in His thoughts in our turn became the many-membered Spoken Word Seed, manifest in flesh, and those eternal thoughts now manifest in flesh are the sons of God, even as we are so called. WE DID NOT BECOME SEED BY THE REBIRTH, WE WERE SEED AND THEREFORE WERE REBORN FOR ONLY THE ELECT CAN BE REBORN. Because we WERE SEED is the reason we could be quickened. In NON-SEED there is nothing to quicken.

Wade Taylor

As being a “son,” I enter into a cooperative relationship with Jesus in the outworking of His end-time purposes. But I cannot function as a son, until first, in becoming a “bride,” I have submitted the totality (headship) of my being to the Lord so that my life might become an “end-time” extension of His life and ministry. – Wade Taylor

1 John 3:1 (AMP) SEE WHAT [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him.

1 John 3:2 (KJV) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (AMP just as He [really] is.)

Hebrews 2:10 (AMP) For it was an act worthy [of God] and fitting [to the divine nature] that He, for Whose sake and by Whom all things have their existence, in bringing many sons into glory, should make the Pioneer of their salvation perfect [should bring to maturity the human experience necessary to be perfectly equipped for His office as High Priest] through suffering.

1 Corinthians 12:12 For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.

The Glory Brings Perspective

1 Corinthians 14:14-15 (KJV) 14For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
