Fight or Flight (Guarding your Harvest)

Hebrews 10:35-36 (AMP) Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.

  • The quality and quantity of your harvest is directly proportional to how you sow!
  • Your SEED determines your HARVEST!

Luke 6:38 38Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

2 Corinthians 9:6 6But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Galatians 6:9 9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Galatians 6:9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Galatians 6:9 (AMP) And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.

  • The timing of Your harvest is often determined by what you do while you’re waiting for it.
  • We must be faithful to water the seed with Praise!!

2 Samuel 23:11-12 (NAS) 12But he took his STAND … The Philistines gathered together at Lehi, 12But he took his stand in the midst of the plot and defended it and struck down the Philistines, and the LORD worked a great victory.

1 Samuel 23:1-2 Then they told David, saying, Behold, the Philistines fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshingfloors. 2Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.

54 I live by the Word. Jesus said, “It’s written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.’” And This is It! And That is given to us as a heritage. It’s our inheritance, the Word! O God, let us think of It in the—the deepness of It.

55 It’s—it’s our privilege. It’s this sacred trust that God has put to His Church. God gave His Word to His Church. And that sacred heritage is ours. It’s a gift from God. Not to just compromise on This, and cut This out, and throw This out, and add this in, to suit our own taste; but to preach the full Word, the whole Gospel. We are duty bound, as Christians, to take It and believe It. When we know, “If our hearts condemn us not, then we know we have favor with God.”

56 But when we know we are bypassing Something, that some great heritage that belongs to us, that we bypass It, because our church said they “Don’t believe in this today, it isn’t for us today.” If we bypass That, then we spoil our inheritage.

1 Chronicles 11:12-14 After him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighty men. 13 He was with David at Pasdammim. Now there the Philistines were gathered for battle, and there was a piece of ground full of barley. So the people fled from the Philistines. 14 But they stationed themselves in the middle of that field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the LORD brought about a great victory.

Genesis 2:15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

James 5:4 Behold, the hire [or the harvest] of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped [the harvest] are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

Proverbs 6:31 But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.

Luke 11:21-22 21When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: 22But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

1 Timothy 6:12 12Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ.

Psalm 27:1-3, 13 The LORD is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident… I am confident I will see the LORD’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.
