Ephesians 3:14-20 14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Revelation 1:7-18 7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. 9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Matthew 6:31-33 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

37 Don’t be scared to ask. Ask abundantly. “You have not, because you ask not. You ask not, because you believe not.” That’s right. Ask, ask a whole lot. God will give you a whole lot. Have a lot of faith.

A fellow told me the other day; he said, “He was riding an old model-T Ford, yet.” Said, “One day he happened to get some good faith and God give him a Buick.” Said, " I got a Buick faith, I’m- praying for Cadillac faith.” All right. That’s good. That’s right. Keep on. What you believe, hold on to it. God will give it. He’s got Ford faith, so just stay with the Ford then, that’s all right. And so… Let’s get a little more faith. All right.

Where I Think Pentecost Faile

14 And God will never… You can never exhaust God’s love and mercy to you. You say, “Well, I hate to bother You so much, Father.”

He wants to be bothered that way. He does. Don’t never think that you could ever ask too much of God. I believe the Scripture said, “You have not, because you ask not. And you ask not, because you believe not.” He wants us to ask and believe that our joys would be full. He wants you to ask abundantly. Ask for big things; don’t limit your faith to some little mustard seed. Get on out here to some other kind of faith, and move out in big things. Ask… Big things is just as easy to receive as little things. You just have to believe; that’s all. And you got faith, just know exactly how to use it, and it’ll be all right. You can put it right to work and it’ll just be fine.

15 Could you imagine, talking about exhausting God’s love, and power, and beneficiaries for you. Could you imagine a little bitty fish, about that long, way out here in the middle of the ocean say, “Now, wait a minute. I better consider this thing. I better drink of this water sparingly, ’cause I might run out someday.” A little fish, about that big, in the middle of this ocean out here…

Well, that could easily be done, more easier than you could ask too much of God. He’s the inexhaustible Fountain of Life. Whatever you have need of, ask Him and believe it. He provided it in the redemptive blessings when He died at Calvary and gave a promise to you for everything you have need of while you’re in the journey. And it’s yours, if you’ll ask and believe it. That’s right.

16 Could you imagine a little mouse, about so long, under the great garners of Egypt, saying, “Now, wait a minute. I better not eat but just about two grains a day, ’cause I might run out ’fore the winter’s over.”

That’s the way people act as Christians. Get up of a morning say, “God bless my family today and keep us close to You. Amen. Well, I done my religion for the day.”

Oh, I just like to lay down really and drink in (Don’t you?), and have just a real spiritual gastronomical jubilee, just drink till you just can’t drink no more.

What It Takes To Overcome All Unbelief: Our Faith

60-0729 · Yakima, Washington

55 Now, how are we planted? We’re planted in Christ Jesus. Now, I believe, just in my estimation of Him. He’s the inexhaustible fountain of Life, that you cannot exhaust His goodness. Some people think, “Oh, I hate to call on God so much.” That’s what He wants you to do.

“You have not because you ask not. You ask not because you believe not. Ask abundantly that your joys might be full.” That’s what God wants: Ask big things. I’m asking for hundreds of souls in this meeting. I’m asking that every sick person enters that door will go out of here well. I’m believing it. I’m believing that till we go, that this won’t be another gathering together, but it’ll be a revival in Yakima here. Satan’s kept me out of here long enough, and I believe the hour is here for a real sweeping revival in every church and around the country.

42 A man said not long ago, said, “I—I don’t want to bother God. You know I—I know He is awful busy.” Nonsense. “I—I don’t want to…” Well, you can’t exhaust His a bountiful blessings.

Could you imagine a little fish about a half inch long, out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean say, “I better drink of this water sparingly, ’cause I might run out.” Could you imagine a little mouse about so big under the great garners of Egypt saying, “I’d better eat, ration myself this winter to just two grains a day. I might run out before the new harvest.” That’s ridiculous. Well, it’s twice that ridiculous, a thousand times more, to think you can exhaust the mercies of a merciful God. Why, He’s trying to force His way into you. “Ask abundantly that your joys might be full.” No way to exhaust Him.

Like a pump, the more you pump, the fresher the water gets. Oh, and I like that. Just keep pumping, living at the spout where the glory’s coming out. I love that.

Luke 11:5-8 5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? 7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. 8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. 9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Luke 11:9-10 9 And I say unto you, ASK, and it shall be given you; SEEK, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

ASK: Desire, beg, require, crave, call for…

SEEK: to seek in order to find, aim at, strive after..

KNOCK: to deliver a blow against something, strike, knock,

Luke 18:1-8 (KJVS) And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

48 Knock. Now, the right translation to that is not “he that knocks”; [Brother Branham knocks twice—Ed.] it’s “knocketh” [Brother Branham knocks three times—Ed.]. He that asketh… just not say, “Lord…” or he that knocketh, just [Brother Branham knocks once—Ed.] walk away. No, you just keep standing there knocking: [Brother Branham knocks continuously—Ed.] “Lord, I’m wanting in. Open up to me.” That’s it; that’s it. Uh-huh. Like the widow and the unjust judge. See? Just keep knocking constantly.

She was determined. Faith caught something, and she was persistent with it.

227 Like, you look in the Bible, it said, “Knock, it’ll be opened; seek, find; ask, be given.” Now, if you’ll notice, it’s “knocketh.” Just constantly knock. [Brother Branham begins knocking on the pulpit twenty-three times—Ed.] Stay right there. Like the unjust judge, wouldn’t answer the woman; she just kept knocking on his door. Say, “I’m on Your hand.” [Brother Branham stops knocking.] Not seek, say, “Lord, I’d like to have this. Amen.” That’s not it. Stay right there until you get it. You know it’s going to come. So, He promised it, so just stay right there till you hold onto it. See?

97 Did you notice that Scripture where it says, “Seek and ye shall find, knock and it’ll be opened”? Actually, that’s just not knock, like [Brother Branham knocks on the pulpit once—Ed.], and it’ll be opened. He that’s not just say, “Well, I went out, Lord. Here I am. You want me?” No, that’s not it. “He that seeketh, he that knocketh,” continuation. [Brother Branham knocks on the pulpit several times.] It has to compare with the rest of the Scriptures.

98 Like the unjust judge and the widow. She constantly knocked on his door. She was persistent. If he turned her away today, tomorrow she was on his hands again.

99 That’s the way you want to get God. Be on His hands, every morning, every night, every day, all the time, constantly. Just keep seeking, keep asking, keep knocking. Just don’t knock a little while, and get tired and go away. Just keep standing there, “Lord, I’m here, and I’m not going to leave. I’m on Your hands now. I’m going to stay right here. You getting tired listening? I’m having a great time knocking, ’cause I know You’re coming.” Amen. That’s when something happens. He has to get you off of His hand, see, so He comes out to answer you. Now, faith finds this.

Accepting God’s Provided Way At The End

63-0115 · Phoenix, Arizona

191 Well, that’s the way we’re supposed to do. If I see a promise in the Bible that’s God’s Word, then I just stay there and cry out till God gives it to me. And He’d do that, get you off His hands; you see, that would be in the natural. But He’s wanting you to do it. He likes for you to ask. “Ask abundantly that your joys might be full.” Yeah. Yeah.

192 Cry until His Word is vindicated. Now, friend, let’s watch just a minute now. Cry until the Word is vindicated.

193 The trouble of it is, we get a cookie and think that’s all there is. There’s a whole table full. We get so we can speak in tongues, we say, “Oh, brother, that’s it.” Oh, no. That ain’t. That’s just some of it. That’s right. “Oh, I got happy enough to shout.” That’s some more of it. But there’s a whole lot more of it. Just keep on crying out, until…

194 That’s God’s provided way for His people. God’s provided way always is to take His Word and hold onto It until It’s vindicated to you. Now, do you follow me? God, a provided way, hold onto the promise until it’s made manifest to you.

God’s Provided Way For This Day

64-0206E · Bakersfield, California

49 So does the Holy Spirit take the Church to God’s provided place. Not to join a church, but to be filled with His Presence, to see His Word made manifest, vindicated. That’s God’s provided way for the church, always, for the people, to bring them to the place that God has provided for them. That’s exactly what the church should be today. Now, we know that’s true.

50 …They never found a better way for a baby to get what it wants than to cry for it. If you give him a bell, and say, “Junior, you’re only three days old, but now when you want to, when you want your bottle, raise up this bell and ring it,” see if it works. It don’t work. The baby cries for what it wants. That’s God’s provided way. The louder you cry…Don’t whip the little fellow, he is only following God’s provided way. He wants something. That’s right. It’s the only way he knows to call his mother; scream for it, cry for it. That’s right.

51 God recommends this for His children. God recommends this for His believing children. He did. Not intellectual speeches, not some great theology, theology to teach. He wants you to cry for your needs. And that’s right, cry out for it! You’re too stiff and starchy, you’ll never get it. If you are ready to limber yourself up a little, and cry, God will give it to you. He likes to hear His children cry. Cry your needs to God! God wants it. That’s His provided way. Cry out for it! That’s the way the baby cries; that’s the way He wants you to cry. “Cry how long?”

52 How long does a baby cry? Until he gets satisfied. And that’s the way the believing Christian should do, God’s child. If you see that God made the promise, don’t give it up, cry till it’s answered. Cry till you see God vindicates His Word. When God vindicates His Word, and proves it’s here, then you don’t have to cry no more; you got it, walk away and thank Him for it. Until you do that, scream out till you get it. I like that, persistent, holding on.

Thou Son Of David, Have Mercy On Me

98 He’s trying to force His way into you, everything He can. “Ask abundantly that your joys might be full.” He wants His people to be happy, asking great things, believing for great things. You are a city sets on a hill, high ambitions, expectations. Well, mercy, if we see the blind receive its sight tonight, I want to see the dead raised tomorrow night. Yes, sir. And I want to…I—I just keep on believing for greater things.

99 When the church begin to receive the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues, why did you settle down on that? My, just keep moving on. Go on to the promised land. We’re on our way to the promised land. Sure, just don’t take just one thing. Say, “Well, we’ll just…Have you spoke in tongues? Well, you haven’t got a great blessing till you got…” Well, you ought to be a million miles up the road from that right now, sure, greater things; high expectations. Certainly.
