Genesis 1:1-5 (AMP) 1In the beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth. 2The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. 3And God said, Let there be light; and there was light. 4And God saw that the light was good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it; and God separated the light from the darkness. 5And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

Acts 13:1-3 1Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, andLucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

Genesis 12:1-5 1Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. 4So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram* was* seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. 5And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

The Patriarch Abraham

Rev. William Branham · February 7, 1964 · Bakersfield, California

4 Now, Abraham was just an ordinary man, wasn’t something special. God never called him, as far as we have any record, until he was seventy-five years old. His wife, which was his half sister, being sixty-five years old at the time, they had probably lived together since they were very young. And she was barren, and had no children. God called a complete separation, to separate himself from the rest of the world, and from all of his people, and from all of his kindred. There was a special thing for him to do.

5 And when God expects you to do a special thing, He demands a complete separation from any doubt. You’ve got to come to full obedience, to obey what He says. God demands it. You can’t do it no other way. And now, He always sets an example, and that was His example, of a complete separation from all of his family, all of his kindreds, and so forth, to walk a life separated to God.

Abraham and His Seed After Him

Rev. William Branham · April 16, 1961 · Bloomington, Illinois

86 Now, now, and then notice: As soon as Abraham believed God by justification (Believing on the Lord, we’re justified.), immediately God called Abraham to total separation from all unbelief. Is that the way He did in you? Separate yourself from your kindreds, from all your associates; come out of the poolrooms; come out of the dancehalls; come away from the things of the world. God calls for a total separation, to Abraham’s seed, ‘cause that’s what He called Abraham.

Genesis 13:5-18 5And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. 6And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together. 7And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and the herdmen of Lot’s cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. 8And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we* be* brethren. 9Is not the whole land before thee? separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand, then I will go to the left. 10And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. 11Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other. 12Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom. 13But the men of Sodom* were* wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly. 14And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: 15For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever. 16And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. 17Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee. 18Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD.

Abraham’s Seed

Rev. William Branham · April 23, 1959 · San Jose, California

25 Abraham, like God, called those things which were not as though they were. Anything contrary to God’s promise was a lie to Abraham, anything contrary. So then when Abraham started out, when God called him…

Now watch. The first thing God did to Abraham, was called a absolute separation. Exactly. You’ve got to separate yourself from all unbelief. Get away from it. That’s it. You’ve got to get away from unbelief.

God called Abraham to separate himself from his kindred, from everything that he had, that he might walk with Him. Give him a strange land. That’s the way every sinner when he gets saved, he comes into a strange land, among strange people. God calls for a separation.

Jehovah-Jireh #1

Rev. William Branham · April 2, 1964 · Louisville, Mississippi

42 Another thing He told him to do, to separate himself now from his kindred and all of his people.

43 God, in order to get a man or a woman, boy or girl, to obey Him, you have to separate yourself from all unbelief, that’s right, until you totally separate yourself from anything contrary to that Word, and believe It. You…God calls for a total separation.

The Faith Of Abraham

Rev. William Branham · April 15, 1959 · Los Angeles, California

42 Now, God said then, “Abraham, in order to walk with Me you’ve got to separate yourself from the rest of them.” God demands a total separation. But you want to bring a lot of the world along with you.

When you come in and receive the Holy Ghost, you say, “Well, I was taught to be this, and I was taught the days of miracles is past.” You better leave that thing behind. As long as that holds with you, **it’d be like Abraham started out with Lot and his father; there’s trouble in the camp. And God never did bless Abraham until he separated himself and done what God told him to do. **

**And you’ll never receive the Holy Ghost in the fullness; you’ll never walk in the Spirit of God until you totally separate your things from unbelief. Get away from the world. Come out of the world. **

I know you think I’m crazy. But if I am, just let me alone; I’m happy this way. I’d rather be like this than the way I was. See? I looked at my Sacrifice one time.

43 And then…Separation…The world wants mixers. Oh, when you elect your new pastor…You say, “We want that little curly hair,” you know, “and little hollywood perfumed up sort of a something.” Get up on the pulpit and say, “Amen,” real nice, you know. And—and will permit you to look at televisions all night Wednesday night too. Let you out early so we can see some of the television programs that you ought not to see. Won’t say nothing when you reading old “True Story” magazines and filth out on the street. Go into your office and pin-ups hanging around. “Well, he’s a good fellow anyhow, ‘cause he pays good.”

God wants you to separate. That’s what’s the matter with the church. Go into the church and have a little flowery sermon about some politician that’s up to run, and I hope you all vote for him, and afraid if he says anything, the deacons will throw him out. Well, brother, they might as well throw me out to begin with. ‘Cause I believe in preaching the Gospel. Just throw the axe to the root of the tree. God wants separators. The church wants mixers.

From That Time

Rev. William Branham · July 13, 1962 · Spokane, Washington

58 Abraham was changed. And look, when a man meets God…God called Abraham, and He told him He wanted him to separate himself from all of his unbelieving kindred. And when God calls a man to work for Him, He calls you from total annihilation from all the things of the world, and the sins of the earth: separation.

God never did bless Abraham till he fully obeyed Him. He took his father. The old man was always a—a hair in the soup or…excuse that expression. But he was always wrong, and Abraham…And then he got Lot. And then he finally went down there. And after Lot separated himself, then God said to Abraham, “Rise and walk through the land. I’ve give it all to you. It’s all yours.” See? He never fully blessed him till Abraham fully obeyed.

And you’ll never be able to get anything from God, and have favor with God, my brothers and sisters, wherever you are, until we fully obey the Word of God. You make yourself miserable by just halfheartedly approaching it. Yes.

55 So we find those things go on, and they finally come to the blossom here in the last days. **As Jambres and Jannes withstood Moses, so will it be the same thing. **

56 Now, total separation from all unbelief. And, remember, Abraham the patriarch was never absolutely fully blessed until he obeyed exactly what God said do. And we’ll never, never, never be blessed any, and have the blessings, until we obey what God said do.

Luke 2:41-52 41Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. 42And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. 43And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not* of it*. 44But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day’s journey; and they sought him among* their* kinsfolk and acquaintance. 45And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. 46And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. 47And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. 48And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business? 50And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. 51And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. 52And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

God’s Word Calls For A Total Separation From Unbelief

Rev. William Branham · January 21, 1964 · Phoenix, Arizona

5 As I said last night, of Jesus, when He was only twelve years old. And being a mistake of His mother, who is claimed by people to be the mother of God, and how that the woman said, “Why, Thy father and I have sought Thee with tears.”

6 And quickly He, being the Word, said, “Knowest thou not that I must be about My Father’s business?”

7 See, she was declaring Him to be Joseph’s son, but He wasn’t Joseph’s son. If He’d been Joseph’s son, He’d been with him; but He was with the Father, about His business. So the Word is always corrective and always right, and the Word will correct every wrong, always.

8 Now when the earth that…God was going to use the earth, and it was in total darkness. The Spirit of God spoke out, and said, “Let there be light,” and He separated the light from the darkness. And It’s been doing that ever since, separating Light from darkness. God’s Word also separated the water from the land, in the beginning. God spoke, and the water was separated from the land. So, that, He had a—a reason for that.

9 God never speaks a Word unless He’s got a reason for speaking that word. He is not like you and I, that we just…or especially myself, that speaks so many foolish things. God speaks every word with a meaning, and something that He is trying to achieve, and will achieve by His Word. And It will perform exactly what He said It will do.

10 Now, if God said, “Let there be light,” and there was no light, then that—that isn’t, that wasn’t God said that. See?

11 When God says anything, He must back up what He says. And when the Word of God has been a vindicated, the Word been a vindicated, that is Light. Now, the Word Itself isn’t Light until It’s a vindicated Light.

Genesis 1:1-5 (AMP) 1IN THE beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth. 2The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. God’s Word Calls For A Total Separation From Unbelief

Rev. William Branham · January 21, 1964 · Phoenix, Arizona

62 How could a twelve-year-old boy, and we have no record of Him even being in school, how could His intelligence be so great as to debate with the priests, sage, learned man? And why, when, she called that this Joseph was His father, quickly the Word of God…He was separated. He was the Word, and the Word corrected the error, “Know ye not that I must be about My Father’s business?” That was not just that little twelve-year-old boy. That was the Word of God speaking through His little childish mouth, to correct error; separating, like He did in the beginning, darkness from light, a lie from the Truth, death from Life.

63 It’s a separation. Always the Word requires total and complete separation, regardless. Jesus said, “Let every man’s word be a lie; let Mine be true.”

64 **All down through the ages, this same thing has happened. It’s a separating. Always He Separates His people from the unbelief. He did it at the beginning; He does it same today. Each one of the prophets was separated from unbelief. They, reason they did that, is because the Word of the Lord came to them. **

65 Now, I believe in a night, somewhere, perhaps was here Sunday or last night, that I was speaking what the word “seer,” in the Old Testament, meant. It meant a man, “a diviner, a man that would tell the future events that were coming to pass.” And then when they come to pass exactly, without failure, come to pass exactly what he said, then God said, “Listen to this man, or hear him, fear him, for I am with him.” Then he had the Divine Interpretation of the written Word, for that was his credentials of identification, that he was God’s prophet and the Word come to him. That’s right.

66 Now, separation. It separated Isaiah from the church world. It separated Moses from the church world. It separated the…all of the great prophets, through the ages, from the church world. Because they had…It separated Jesus from His brethren. It separated the apostles from the church that was at that day, the Pharisees, Sadducees, great man, holy man, good man, fine man, humble man, man that had fruit of the Spirit more so than what Jesus exercised.

106 That’s it. Pharaohs might have an army, but Moses had the Word because he was God’s prophet. And the Word come to him, and had been vindicated that It was the Truth. It was the living God Who could take dust and throw it up and make fleas come. A man can’t do that. As a man that stood there, and said, “Tomorrow about this time there’d be such-and-such,” and it was. See? They knowed Moses had God’s Word. No matter how many spears and dungeons Pharaoh had, and how many bricks to make; Moses had the Word, so they started into the wilderness.

107 There was a man, Dathan, said, “Moses takes too much upon himself. We’re all holy people, so we all ought to be able to do what Moses did.” And Moses said, “God, what about this?”

108 He said, “Separate yourself. Get away from them.” And He opened up the earth, and swallowed up Dathan and his group.

109 He separated Light from darkness, by vindicating His Word. He is the same God today.

89 God said, “Separate Me Paul and Barnabas!” Amen. Separation! “Come out from among them and be not partakers of their unclean things!” God wants separation, total annihilation from sin. Separate! That’s what’s the trouble today, reason we can’t be Abraham’s Seed, we can’t separate ourselves from dogmas and creeds, and so forth, called Christianity, to the living Word. Separate yourself from your unbelief, and believe God’s Word. God will make It manifest to you. Right.

90 Genesis 12, God said, “Separate yourself from all your kindred and from everything around you.” Oh, my, we can’t separate ourself from card-playing! Huh!

Matthew 12:46-50 46While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. 47Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. 48But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 50For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Mark 10:29 29And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or** father**, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,

Deliverance

Luke 4:16-21 16And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 17And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18The Spirit of the Lord* is* upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. 20And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim LIBERTY to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound (compare “preach DELIVERANCE” and “SET AT LIBERTY” in Luke 4:18).

LIBERTY = der-ore’ = “from an unused root (meaning to move rapidly); freedom; hence, spontaneity of outflow, and so clear; a flowing, a free run, liberty” = the YEAR of the FLOW!

*This Hebrew word is only used elsewhere to describe the “PURE” (free-flowing) MYRRH of Exodus 30:23, and by Jeremiah (4 times in Jer. 34:8,15,17), AND in the following verse: *

Leviticus 25:10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you.

Hebrews 10:38-39 AMP 38But the just shall live by faith [My righteous servant shall live *^a^*by his conviction respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it]; and if he draws back and shrinks in fear, My soul has no delight or pleasure in him.^†^ 39But our way is not that of those who draw back to eternal misery (perdition) and are utterly destroyed, but we are of those who believe [who cleave to and trust in and rely on God through Jesus Christ, the Messiah] and by faith preserve the soul.

2 Kings 13:14-19 14Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. 15And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows. 16And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hands upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king’s hands. 17And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance form Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them. 18And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. 19And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

Colossians 1:9-13 9For this cause we also, since the day we heard* it*, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 12Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated* us* into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Hebrews 10:38-39 AMP 38But the just shall live by faith [My righteous servant shall live by his conviction respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it]; and if he draws back and shrinks in fear, My soul has no delight or pleasure in him. 39But our way is not that of those who draw back to eternal misery (perdition) and are utterly destroyed, but we are of those who believe [who cleave to and trust in and rely on God through Jesus Christ, the Messiah] and by faith preserve the soul.

Philippians 3:21 21Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Colossians 2:13-15 13And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Colossians 2:14-15 AMP 14Having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared *^a^*completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross. 15[God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].

Ephesians 4:27 27Neither give place to the devil.

An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, Chapter 1 · Rev. William Branham

Consider this. Since it is the blood of God, it is perfect blood; and if the perfect blood is loosing us from the power and bondage and defilement of sin, then the loosing is perfect and complete. There is now therefore no condemnation. “Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth (declares us righteous). Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died…” Romans 8:33-34. There it is, His death gave us the blood. The blood has loosed us. There is now no condemnation. How can there be? There is nothing to be condemned for, because* the blood has loosed us from sin. We are free, guiltless. Don’t listen to man, listen to the Word. You are loosed by the blood.**

Romans 8:1 (KJV) 1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:33-34 AMP 33Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?] 34Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?

1 Thessalonians 5:23 23And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and* I pray God* your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

**1 Thessalonians 5:23 (AMP)**And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah). 1 Th. 5:23 CJB May the God of shalom make you completely holy — may your entire spirit, soul and body be kept blameless for the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

How Can I Overcome?

August 25, 1963 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

104 Look. Temptation was for Him. You know that? The Bible said, “He was tempted in all points like we are, yet without sin.” He was tempted by—by drinking. He was tempted by women. He was tempted by everything that could be tempted by. He was tempted by everything that we are. He was a Man, and yet you couldn’t put a mark on Him. Yes, sir.

105 Overcome means “to recognize the devil in every one of his tricks.” Lot of people says, “There is no devil. It’s just a thought.” Don’t you believe that. There’s a real devil. He’s just as real as you are or anybody. A real devil, and you must recognize him real. You must know he’s a devil. Then, the same time that you—you recognize him, and know that he’s a devil and he’s against you, then, to overcome, you must recognize that the God in you is greater and mightier than he is, that the One that’s in you has already overcome him. And, by His grace, you are more than a match for him. Amen. There’s real overcoming, when you recognize.

A Total Deliverance

July 12, 1959 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

53 And the member of the church, he’s called to be a member of this certain group, then he would not compromise. If the church believes that we should not gamble, then that member should never touch a deck of cards. We don’t believe in drinking, he should turn his head completely from drinking. If we do not believe in gambling, or smoking, the member of this church should never touch such a thing. God gives complete deliverance. When we… He will do it if we’ll completely surrender ourselves to Him. If we will completely deliver ourselves into His hand, then God can live in us. Christ, the Hope of Glory, He can reflect Himself from us as we get ourselves out of the way. Then our thoughts are His thoughts. Could you imagine Christ smoking a cigar? Could you imagine Christ drinking, or playing cards? Then if your spirit is part of His Spirit, He wants it to be upon your confession. But you permit the devil to come in and take over. And all the time, in your heart, way down deep, you know you’re wrong when you do those things. And when a one member would talk against the other member, you know that’s wrong. You are commanded to pray for one another, not to talk against one another, but to love one another. And if someone is down, let’s pick him up, help him. Now, that makes us a—a—a unified group of believers. Now, when we don’t obey that, then we don’t obey God and we displease God. And therefore, our church, our people cannot prosper, the church cannot go on, is because we are disunified, together. As Jesus said, “A little leaven leavens the lump.”

Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

The Feast of Trupmets

July 19, 1964 · Jeffersonfille, Indiana

135 Now notice the trumpets that we’re speaking of, is a call together for either a feast, for war, for a person, some sacred day, or something like that. Notice. You say, “For a person?” Yeah. Or, for the year of jubilee, the announcing of the coming of freedom, when they could go back; now, we could take a complete morning on just that one thing. But, now, getting into the trumpets. You got the background now, of the Seals and the Church, now we’re going into the trumpet. The trumpet sounded, and the trumpet denotes either war, or a feast day. Or, what it means, is, “a gathering together of the people,” the trumpet. 136 Paul said, “When the trumpet gives an uncertain sound, who can prepare themselves for war, or for peace, or whatever it is?” Who knows? You have to know what the trumpet sounds. 137 Therefore, when the trumpet sounds, we see something in the earth today. There is a great trouble somewhere. Everybody knows it. Everybody has become a neurotic. The whole world is a neurotical world, and we know there is something wrong. The Pentagon, everywhere, we know there is something wrong. 138 Now, the only way you’ll know what the trumpet sound is, is to look what the Music Sheet says. That’s all. It’s a great Symphony, see, and beating. 139 Like, Peter and the Wolf, see, when you…if the…And the—the composer has wrote the book, and the director must be in the same spirit of the composer. If he don’t, he gives the wrong beat, and then the whole thing is out. 140 That’s what’s the matter today. We got too many directors in the…not in the Spirit of the Composer. They say, “The denomination, well, we believe this.” 141 No matter what you say, the Bible is right. Beat it out according to the Sheet Music right here before it, then the great Symphony of God’s great act is playing out just right, then we can see the hour and where we’re standing. 142 Now notice, the trumpet is to call together the people, assemble themselves together for something. Sometime it announced a important person.

This Day This Scripture Is Fulfilled

46 “The acceptable year,” as we all know, as Bible readers, was “the year of jubilee.” That, when all slaves and prisoners, as they were, been taken, prison; and had to give a son, to pay a debt; or a daughter, to pay a debt, [Blank spot on tape—Ed.] and they were in bondage. No matter how long they had been in bondage, or how long they was supposed to stay there; when the year come, of the jubilee, when the trumpet sounded, every man could go free if he wanted to go free. [Blank spot on tape.] You’re free. You was no more slave. 47 But if you desired to remain a slave, then you had to be taken down to the temple, stood by the temple post, and they took an awl and bored a hole in your ear, and then you had to serve that slave master the rest of your days. 48 What a perfect example it is of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! When It’s preached, the acceptable time, and the time of Jubilee; anybody, no matter who you are, what color you are, what denomination you belong to, how it’s far you’ve stooped in sin, or what’s wrong with you; you can go free when you hear the Gospel trumpet sound out. You are free! 49But if you turn your back upon the Message and refuse to hear It, notice, you were bored in the ear, with an awl. That means, to say, that you have crossed the line between grace and judgment, and you will never hear the Gospel again. You’ll never get any further. You must be a slave to the system you’re in, the rest of your days, if you refuse to hear the acceptable year. 50 Now, the other part of it, as I said, didn’t need to be answered, because this coming Messiah, a time now, is when He will bring judgment.

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim LIBERTY to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. (compare “preach DELIVERANCE” and “SET AT LIBERTY” in Luke 4:18).

Colossians 2:14-15 (AMP) 14Having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross. 15completely [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].

1 Corinthians 2:6-8 6Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden* wisdom*, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Revelation 12:7-11 7And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

362 Then, in Revelation 12:7-9, when Satan is cast out, the accuser. You want to put that down, ‘cause I want you to read it. We haven’t got time now; it’s close, twenty or fifteen till ten, see. But in Revelation 12:7-9, “Satan,” the spirit, “the devil,” which is up there now, “accuser of our brethren.” All right.

363 The Church is taken up, and Satan is cast out. When the Church goes up, Satan comes down, then Satan incarnates himself in the antichrist and is called “the beast.” Then, Revelation 13, he sets the mark down. See?

Ephesians 4:27 27Neither give place to the devil.

Proverbs 4:20-22 20My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Matthew 6:22-23 (AMP) 22The eye is the lamp of the body. So if your eye is sound, your entire body will be full of light. 23But if your eye is unsound, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the very light in you [your conscience] is darkened, how dense is that darkness!

Psalms 101:3 (AMP) 3I will set no base or wicked thing before my eyes. I hate the work of them who turn aside [from the right path]; it shall not grasp hold of me.

Mark 4:23-24 (AMP) 23If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him perceive and comprehend. 24And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.

Luke 8:18 (AMP) 18Be careful therefore how you listen. For to him who has [spiritual knowledge] will more be given; and from him who does not have [spiritual knowledge], even what he thinks and guesses and supposes that he has will be taken away.

Romans 10:17 (AMP) 17So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).

Proverbs 4:23 23Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (AMP) 4For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, 5[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

An Exposition of the Seven Church Ages

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, Chapter 1

Romans 8:1 1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:33-34 (AMP) 33Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?] 34Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?

The Invisible Union of the Bride of Christ

November 25, 1965 · Shreveport, Louisiana

268 Oh, that spiritual union of Christ and His Church now, when the flesh is becoming Word, and the Word is becoming flesh, manifested, vindicated. Just what the Bible said would happen in this day, it’s happening, day by day. Why, it’s cumulating so fast out there, in those deserts, and things taking place, that I couldn’t even keep up with it. We’re near the Coming of Jesus, to be united with His Church, where the Word becomes the Word. Call of the Holy Spirit, searching the hearts!

269 You’re standing, completely. You never sinned at the first place. God don’t even know. It’s in the Sea of Forgetfulness. You never did it. You were accused of it, by the accuser. But really, from the beginning, you were predestinated to be a son and daughter of God. You’re standing there, washed. And your old book of divorcement is put away, and it’s dead, absolutely out of existence, even in the mind of God.

270 You’re the virtuous Bride of Christ, washed in the Blood of Christ. Precious, virtuous, sinless Son of God standing with a pure, unadulterated Bride-Word that He washed by the Water of His Own Blood; that become flesh and manifested, that He might take you which were predestinated in the bosom of the Father, before the beginning, the same as He was. He was that great attribute of God, called “love.”

271 Whatever you are, you are servants of God, whatever God wants you to do, where your place is. “God placed in the Church, some apostles, prophets, teachers, pastors…” He placed that by virtue of His Own predestination. And you were that, to begin with.

272 Your first wedding was annulled. It was. You never done it, in the first place. Because, there’s only one thing could do it, that would be God come down, Himself, and took your place in a form of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and washed you by the Water, of the washing of the Water by the Word. The Word; not the denomination! The Word washed you. But if you won’t stand in the Water of the Word, how you going to be washed? You’re still as spotted as Eve was. Oh, dear dying Lamb, Thy precious Blood Shall never lose Its power, Till all the ransomed Church of God Be saved to sin no more.

God Hiding Himself in Simplicity

March 17, 1963 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

408 And God took a sacrifice, a chemical, of the blood, but the blood of bulls and goats did not divorce sin. It only covered sin. If I’ve got a red spot on my hand, and cover it with white, the red spot is still there. See, it’s still there.

409 But God sent down, from Heaven, a bleach for sin. It was the Blood of His Own Son. That, when our confessed sin drops into God’s bleach, try to find it again! The coloring of sin goes back through the mediators, and down through the time, until it hits the accuser, Satan, and lays on him till the Day of the Judgment.

410 What happens to the son? He becomes in perfect fellowship with the Father again, standing on the other side of the chasm, with no remembrance of sin against him. No more, there is no more stain of bleach can be seen anywhere. He is free. Hallelujah! Just as that Clorox, or that ink can never be ink no more, because it’s broke up and sent back again. And when confessed sin is confessed and been dipped into the…A man or a woman that’s been dipped into the Blood of Jesus Christ, it kills all symptoms. And every molecule of sin goes back to the devil, and laid on him till that Day of Judgment, where his Eternal destination will be throwed into a Lake of Fire. And the chasm is bridged, and never to come in remembrance no more. And a man stands justified, as a son of God. Simplicity!

411 Moses, under the blood of bulls and goats, with his confession in the Word of God! And God could take that simple man, and put His Words in his mouth. And he proved that he was Jehovah’s servant, for he could walk out there and Jehovah spoke to him by vision. He walked out, stretched his hands towards the east.

412 And now, remember, God had spoke to him. It’s God’s thought. God uses man. God spoke to him. It’s right. He said, “Go stretch that rod, in your hand, towards the east, and say, ‘Flies!’”

413 Moses, under the blood of that goat, sheep, walked out there and took that stick, reached towards the east. “THUS SAITH THE LORD. Let there be flies!” Never heard a fly. Walked on back. It’s already spoke. It’s a thought, now it’s spoke, it’s expressed. It’s the Word of God then. It come into a human’s lips, a simple man under the blood of a bull, bull or a goat.

414 First thing you know, a green fly begin to fly around. Next thing you know, they were five pounds per yard. What was it? Was the Word of God, spoken through Moses, the Creator. Because, under the blood, he was standing in the Presence of God, and his own Words wasn’t his word.

415 “If ye abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, then ask what you will, it shall be given to you.” Where is the Church standing at? 416"Let there be frogs!" And there wasn’t a frog in the country. In an hour’s time, they were ten-foot deep, in places. What was it? It was God, the Creator, hiding Himself in a simple man. 417Now I want to ask you something. If the blood of a bull or a goat be used for a bleach, which can only cover, could put a man in position to speak the creative Word of God and bring flies into existence, why would you stumble at the bleach of Jesus Christ’s Blood Who could speak a squirrel or something into existence? 418Don’t you do it, don’t stumble over simplicity. Believe that He still remains God. Oh, my! Pardon of sin! Oh, how I wish I could…

Romans 10:6-8 6But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) 7Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) 8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

Confession: To commit oneself to, to acknowledge something usually public, a profession of allegiance

Romans 10:9-11 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

44 Maybe you’ve been at the hospital. Maybe the doctor says you’re going to die. “But even now, Lord…” Can You speak to Him, He’s setting at the right hand of God making intercessions on your confessions. “The doctor says I’m going to die, but even now, Lord, whatever You ask God, God will give it to You.” You say, “They tell me I’ll never see again. I’m blind. But even now, Lord, whatever You ask God, God will give it to You. He’s the High Priest of your confession, setting at the right hand of God, making intercession on what you profess. And you’ve got a right to profess any redemptive blessing that He’s died for. He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquity, the chastisement of our peace upon Him and with His stripes we were healed. “Even now, Lord, I don’t care what the doctor says, what the science says. But even now, Lord, whatever You ask God, God will give it to You.” You believe it? Even now, whatever You ask Him, He will do. Something’s got to happen.
