Song of Solomon 2:10-12 My Beloved spoke, and said to me, Rise up, My love, My fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land."

“Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,
At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,
When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death,
And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.”

C.S. Lewis

Ephesians 2:1 (AMP) AND YOU [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins

1 John 3:14 (AMP) We know that we have passed over out of death into Life by the fact that we love the brethren (our fellow Christians). He who does not love abides (remains, is aheld and kept continually) in [spiritual] death.

Romans 6:3-5 (AMP) Are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might [habitually] live and behave in newness of life. For if we have become one with Him by sharing a death like His, we shall also be [one with Him in sharing] His resurrection [by a new life lived for God].

2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMP) Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!

Genesis 1:26-27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought [them] unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that [was] the name thereof.

The Sixth Seal

Rev. William Branham · March 23, 1963 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

126 Compare Scriptures of this great event, that we will see that this great secret, or mystery, that was under the Sixth Seal of the Book of Redemption. Now remember, these are hidden mysteries. And the six Seals, all together, is one great big Book, just six scrolls rolled together, and it unwinds the whole Book of Redemption. That’s how the whole earth was redeemed.

127 That’s the reason John wept, because, if no one could get that Book, all creation, everything was gone. She would just simply turn back to—to—to atoms and molecules, and so forth, and cosmic light, and not even be creation, person, nothing else. Cause, Adam lost the rights of that Book. He forfeited it when he listened to his wife, and she listened to Satan’s reasonings, instead of the Word of God. See? It was forfeited.

The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages And The Seven Seals

Rev. William Branham · March 17, 1963 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

99 Now, when Adam sinned, by heeding his wife’s reasoning instead of holding to God’s Word, that’s what made Adam sin. His wife reasoned with Satan, and then produced the product to Adam, and Adam turned loose the Word and sold out.

100 He lost, also, his inheritance, when he lost his fellowship and right to Life. Remember, “The day you eat thereof, that day you die.” And when he lost his Life, he also lost his inheritance in life, because he had completely supreme control of the earth. He was a god of the earth. God is the God of the universe, everywhere. But His son had this earth under his own control. He could speak, he could name, he could say, he could stop nature, he could do anything he wanted to. See? But, when he did that, he lost his inheritance.

101 Now, Adam could say, “Let this mountain, here, be moved over there,” and it would do it. Adam could say, “Let this tree, here, be plucked up and planted over here,” it would do it. See? For he had complete, supreme control, as a minor god under God our Father, because he was a son of God.

The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages And The Seven Seals

Rev. William Branham · March 17, 1963 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

103 Adam lost his inheritance, the earth. Now, it passed from his hand to the one he sold out to, Satan. He sold his faith in God, to Satan’s reasonings. Therefore, his Eternal Life, his right to the Tree of Life, his right to the earth, belonged to him, and he forfeited every bit to the hands of Satan. He passed it from his hand to Satan. Therefore, now, it has been, it returned and has been polluted. And the seed of Adam has destroyed the inheritance that Adam should have had, that’s the earth. That’s right, see, the seed of Adam.

Revelation, Chapter Five #1

Rev. William Branham · June 11, 1961 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

122 Now notice. What did we loose? Well, it was given to Adam to have Eternal Life, as long as he eat from the Tree he had Eternal Life. And we notice again that Adam was the…he—he inherit the earth. He was the…like an amateur god over the earth. The earth was his. Everything was given unto his hand, he could do with it whatever he wanted to. He named it, and called it, and done whatever he wanted to. He was truly a son of God.

123 Now, in the fall, Adam forfeit the title deed to that. He forfeit it to Satan. Satan took the title deed. Adam was very slothful, and he did not redeem his rights for he could not redeem his rights. But Satan, which does not rightfully own it, but he possesses that, he is the god of this earth. The Bible said so. He possesses that. Not because that he—that he—he really rightfully gets it, but he possesses it. Now do you get it? Satan possesses that, he holds it into his hand. Death is in his hand, the earth is in his hand, the world belongs to him, every nation belongs to him, he governs and controls the whole world and everything in the world. Satan does!

The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages And The Seven Seals

Rev. William Branham · March 17, 1963 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

116 Now, oh, my! Now, the forfeited title deed is now in the hands of the original Owner, Almighty God. The title deed to the earth, and to Eternal Life, when Adam forfeited it; then Satan’s dirty hands could not take it, so it went back to its original Owner, God Himself. We’re going to find it, just in a minute. There He sits on the Throne, with it in His hand, the title deed. [Brother Branham claps his hands together two times—Ed.] Oh, that makes me feel religious. The title deed to Eternal Life, abstract title deed to Eternal Life, when Adam forfeited it for wisdom, instead of faith, it went back to the hands of the Owner, Almighty God. What a great thing!

When Their Eyes Were Opened

Rev. William Branham · April 20, 1956 · Spindale, North Carolina

17 Now, I don’t mean that He made one atonement for your sickness and one for your sins; He made one atonement, and that was for sin. And when you deal with sin, you’ve got to deal with every attribute of sin.

The human race, as we’re taught in the Scripture, didn’t have any sickness before sin came in. And then when sin came in, it…Sickness was issued in as a attribute of sin, which had to bring death. Sin is death. And sickness follows sin. Worry, follows sin. Did you ever notice what a horrible thing worry is? There’s not one value in it at all…

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Romans 5:14, 16-19 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses***, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. 16And not as [it was] by one that sinned, [so is] the gift: for the judgment [was] by one to condemnation, but the free gift [is] of many offences unto justification. For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Therefore as by the offence of one [judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [the free gift came] upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

1 Corinthians 15:45-47 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

The Manifestation of the Spirit

Rev. William Branham · July 17, 1951 · Toledo, Ohio

17 Now, when Jesus died at Calvary, He settled the sin question for ever before the Father, because He was a perfect Sacrifice for our sin. He was our Kinsman Redeemer. You Bible scholars know what I’m speaking of, like Boaz, when he was a…had to be a kinsman redeemer to redeem the lost estate of Ruth. And he had to make a public testimony. And then everything that Ruth had fell to him as he redeemed all of her possessions. And he…Of course, he got…When he redeemed Naomi, why, he got Ruth in, which is a type of the Gentile Bride, and so forth. But he was a kinsman redeemer.

Now, God, Who is in Spirit, inveiled Himself in a body of flesh, which was His Son, Christ Jesus. And God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, and become kinfolks to human beings to suffer the penalty that He had put on the human Himself. And He became Kinfolks and a Redeemer.

In other words, like this. We was put in the devil’s pawn shop, and Jesus paid the price and brought us out. See? The price was already paid.

Now, when Jesus died at Calvary, He saved every sinner in the world that—or ever would be in the world, as far as God was concerned.

18 Now, you wasn’t saved ten years ago, or two years ago, or three years ago. I wasn’t saved seventeen years ago. I was saved two thousand years ago. But I accepted it seventeen years ago.

Now, Jesus didn’t come down and die just for me, or die just for you. He settled the sin question. But it’ll never do us any good until we accept it. It’s your accepting of Him as your personal Saviour. And it’s by faith that you receive it and believe it.

Now, in Hebrews 3:1, the Bible said that He’s the High Priest of our confession. Now, He’s setting at the right-hand of the Father to make intercessions for us upon our confession.

God’s Provided Way Of Dealing With Sin

Rev. William Branham · March 5, 1954 · Pheonix, Arizona

38 … And I tell you. Jesus Christ, on Calvary, pulled the stinger out of death and sin, and there we…Sickness has no control any more. God’s done suffered it in judgment. Jesus took the stinger out of sin. Jesus took the stinger out of sickness. Jesus took the stinger off of Satan. Jesus took the stinger out of sin, and tonight he’s helpless. Hallelujah! He can only buzz and make a lot of fuss, but he’s got no stinger.

39 Paul said, “O death, where is your sting? Grave, where is your victory? But thanks be to God Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Amen.

And Thy Seed Shall Possess The Gate Of His Enemies

Rev. William Branham · February 13, 1961 · Long Beach, California

49 Then when He died down at the cross, hell taken His precious soul. The Bible said His soul descended into hell. That’s exactly right. Hell captured His soul and took Him down there. But brother, on that third day He possessed the gates of death, hell, and the grave and rose up the third day, and overcome it all. He took sickness, death, hell, the grave, and everything. I believe He jerked the gate plumb off the hinges of them, and took them out, rose on high, ascended on high. And tonight, you are more than conquerors. His seed shall possess the gates of the enemy. Yes, sir. He possessed every gate. He conquered every sickness. He conquered every sin, He conquered every temptation. He conquered death, He conquered hell, He conquered the grave. He possessed the gate of all of them. And we in Him are more than conquerors, hallelujah, ‘cause He conquered for us. Oh, we would ever know what that true seed of Abraham was, what it really meant to us.

It Is the Rising of the Sun

Rev. William Branham · April 18, 1965 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

307 Look what we’ve seen in this day. The Quickening Power has come to us, to open the Seven Seals. What was that, the intelligence of a man? No, the quickening Power of God. See, the quickening Power of God foretold this would take place. See, the quickening Power of God made the world testify to It, it’s the Truth. The Angel of the Lord, I told you, was around, in a Pillar of Fire; quickening Power let the world testify that It’s the Truth. And, in that, they didn’t know what It was; and we knew, just look this a way, and It’s our Lord up there, you see.

308 He is the One Who opened those Seals. He is those Seals, for the whole Word of God is Christ, and Christ is the Seals that was opened. What is the opening of Seals then? Revealing Christ.

309 And the very seven Angels, which represented the Seven Churches all completed, and we couldn’t even see It. They did, they took the picture, not us. And there He is, standing there, Supreme Judge; showing that He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. What identification! Quickening Power did that to us.

310 Quickening Power lets us see His coming. Quickening Power snatched us from death to Life. Quickening Power gives discernment; to know what’s wrong with you, and what to do; what you have done, and what you ought not have done; and what you should have done, and what you will be. Quickening Power, all these things!

Does God Ever Change His Mind About His Word?

Rev. William Branham · April 18, 1965 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

196 Don’t that make you feel good? [Congregation says, “Amen."—Ed.] We have pledged ourself anew, knowing that in our hearts we have been quickened from the dead, made alive. Don’t it make you feel good? [“Amen.”] My, oh, my! I love you, with undying love.

Listen. “Love one another. For you cannot dislike your brother, who you see, and say you love God, Who you haven’t seen.” See? So just love one another.

Then, you serve one another, you serve God. Is that right? “As you do unto the least of these that’s got quickening Power in them, you’ve done it unto Me.”

“When did we see You in need? When did we visit You in prison? When did we do these things?”

“What you done to them, you did it to Me.”

The Easter Seal

Rev. William Branham · April 10, 1965 · Phoenix, Arizona

86 Now, the Holy Spirit is here on earth, looking out those individuals that God has ordained to Life in this age. And as soon as It finds it, It does just like It did on Jesus Christ, the great super Son of God Who redeemed us all. It comes down and takes Its place of abode into the human life, now, notice, brought the quickening power. Now, that quickening power that come upon Jesus quickened Him to manifest every promise of the Word of that day. So does the Holy Spirit that come upon us in this day, if it’s not a mockery holy spirit, if it’s not the devil mocking the Holy Spirit, but is the real, true Holy Spirit. It’ll manifest the promise of this hour.

87 When It fell upon Luther, It manifested that promise of that hour. When It fell upon Wesley, It manifested the promise of that hour. When It falls in this day, It manifests the promise of this hour. When It fell upon Moses, It manifested the promise of that hour. Fell upon Noah, It manifest the promise of that hour. When It fell upon Jesus, It manifest the promise of that hour. See?

88 It’s the Holy Spirit coming down, to quicken, make alive those people that’s foreordained of God to be in the Rapture. Notice. That is, if he is a true eagle, he will understand the Message of the hour if he’s a true eagle. Now, the little eagle probably, in the barnyard, was eating all right, but he—he knowed it wasn’t just exactly right. But then when he heard the Truth, then he received this Truth. Now, in John 14…

89 John 5:24, rather, Jesus said, speaking this way, “He that heareth My Words, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting Life, and shall not come into the judgment, but is passed from death unto Life.” Just think how simple that is, “He that believeth.” Now, the correct way of saying that, “He that understandeth.”

90 Now, you go out here on the street and say to this prostitute, “You believe?”

“Sure.”

“You believe He’s Son of God?”

“Certainly.”

“Been baptized?”

“Sure.”

91 Go down to the drunkard, say, “You hear That? Hear that preacher preach?”

“Yeah.”

“You believe That?”

“Sure.” See?

92 But, “He that understandeth, he that knoweth his place in this hour, he that heareth My Word and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath” (present tense) “Eternal Life. Shall not come into the Judgment, but has already passed from death unto Life.” Then when this new Eternal Life dwells in you, It is the potential, or the earnestness of you being quickened from mortal to immortality.

93 Let me say that again. When This Spirit has found you, the individual, and has come upon you, It is the potential of your Eternal inheritance that God thought of you and made for you before the foundation of the world. That is your potential.

94 Like if you asked me for an oak tree, and I give you an acorn. Now, the—the—the life for the oak tree is in the acorn now, but you have to wait till it grows up.

The Easter Seal

Rev. William Branham · April 10, 1965 · Phoenix, Arizona

105 Now, but when they went up to Pentecost, there they received the quickening power, the power that made them alive.

106 Now there’s where I think that, you Presbyterian and Methodist brethren, you do receive potentially on believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, but the abstract hasn’t come yet. That’s the clearing of the deed.

107 God gave Abraham a promise. Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness. But He sealed the covenant by the seal of circumcision.

108 And God gives you a promise, potentially, that you will receive it, and you’re going to be raised up, this body is going to be glorified with Him at the end time. But, you see, you have to get a clearance on that deed. And the clearance is when everything against it has been stricken off, and you got the abstract to it. You’ve got the seal. It’s yours. Everything is on it belongs to you. Amen.

109 And when we believe on Jesus Christ for our Saviour, and repent and are baptized, and come up to believe Him; God recognizes our repentance and our faith towards Him, and sends down the abstract. And the abstract is the assurance. It’s the guarantee that, everything was ever held against you, you thoroughly repented. Hallelujah! And the property is boughten, and you hold the abstract for the assurance.

110 **Let somebody try to put you off the land, **say he belongs, and you with the abstract in your hand. Let him try to do it. There ain’t a law in the land can do it, because you hold the abstract.

111 And there’s no devil, no church, or any theology, that can overstep the boundaries of God’s proof and abstract, that the baptism of the Holy Ghost has recognized us in Jesus Christ. We’re just as sure to raise as He raised, because potentially we have already raised in Him. Amen.

112 The old things. What does it do to our mortal bodies? It turns our opinion, changes our notions. It sets our affections on things which are Above. And the smoking, drinking, gambling, the things that you used to do, is dead. It’s beneath you.

113 And you are quickened. And this quickening power brings your body into a raptured condition, already. Notice the pentecostal people up there, when they got quickened by the Holy Spirit. Listen to me. When those pentecostal group up there, on the Day of Pentecost, received their abstract deed from God, sure, it glorified their souls. They screamed. They saw tongues of Fire separated upon each of them. And it so quickened their body, till they couldn’t even speak in an earthly language anymore. It quickened their body to a Heavenly language, the Place they’re going to. Quickening power of God shook their mortal bodies so, till their entire mortal language was transfigured, transformed into an immortal language. What a quickening power! What? Something that belongs.

The Easter Seal

Rev. William Branham · April 10, 1965 · Phoenix, Arizona

214 There’s a little fellow setting right here, that, under this church now. A few days ago…That man believes. Little old boy had a cancer on his ear, and he wouldn’t say nothing about it. He was working up there at the house. I had been on a hunting trip with him, up there with the Moseley brothers, and Brother Dawson here. We was up here hunting, Brother William’s son. And I happened to look over on his ear, and I seen his ear all swelled up. I said, “What’s the matter, Donavon, that ear?”

215 He said, “Brother Branham, it’s been on a long time. I don’t know.”

216 I just—just caught him by the hand there. That was a big cancer on his ear. Never said one word; just held it, and thought, “My brother!” In a day or two after that, there wasn’t even a scar left of it. It was his respect in the God of Heaven, by His quickening power, killed that cancer and spared the life of Donavan Weerts back there. That’s right.

The Easter Seal

Rev. William Branham · April 10, 1965 · Phoenix, Arizona

228 What is it? It’s quickening power that will catch us away. That great quickening power. The quickening power come in this last days.

229 That’s what I’m in Arizona for, right now. There’s many people sitting right here, stood right here at Phoenix, and heard me tell you from this very platform, “THUS SAITH THE LORD.” How many remembers it? “Now go. Something is fixing to happen.”

230 I saw seven Angels come. Didn’t Life magazine pack it, as the fog of It floated across here, twenty-seven miles high, and thirty miles across? Is not Fred Sothmann, these other, Gene Norman, them, setting back there? Stood right there when them seven Angels appeared right there on the hill. It shook the hills, for miles around, like that. There stood seven Angels. And throwed a sword in your hand, said, “Go home and open these Seven Seals that are given.” And here they are, the true mystery of marriage and divorce, and the serpent’s seed, and all of these things that’s been fussed about. It’s THUS SAITH THE LORD.

231 What is it? The quickening power coming to the Church, making Her ready, this hour that we’re approaching. Quickening power! O God, help us to receive It. Help us to believe It.

232 See, just depends on what attitude you take to It, whether It’s going to do you any good, or not, though. See? You have to believe That. You don’t believe It, It won’t do you one bit of good.

It Is the Rising of the Sun

Rev. William Branham · April 18, 1965 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

83 If there would be any holy ritual, it should come forth on the sabbath day, which was the seventh day of the week, which is Saturday. But did you notice, in this memorial, to wave it on the first day of the week?

84 “The sheaf, which was the first of your seed that you planted, when it comes up and ripened, you cut down this sheaf and take it to the priest. And let him take it and wave it before the Lord, for your acception, that you are accepted. You have come with your sheaf, and he is to wave it before the Lord, on…”

85 Not on the sabbath, the seventh day; but on the first day, which we call Sunday, S-u-n-d-a-y.

86 Course, that’s a—a Roman word, which they called it the sun day for the sun god. But how it is changed!

87 It’s not s-u-n anymore. It’s the S-o-n d-a-y, the Son day, that that corn of Wheat (God’s first One up from the dead) is to be waved over the congregation, that we are His Seed; and that’s the first of the Seed of those that slept, waved upon the first day of the week. On Sunday, He raised up. Waved good-bye, and ascended up on High, in the presence of the people.

88 Notice, It was the first corn of God’s Wheat that had been raised from the dead, God’s first corn of Wheat. By God’s quickening Power, God had quickened His life, raised Him up from the dead, and He was the Firstfruits of those that slept, the Firstfruit. He was that Sheaf.

89 That’s why they had to wave that sheaf, for it was the first one that come to maturity. And it was waved as a memorial of thanksgiving to God, believing that the rest of them would come. It was a sign.

It Is the Rising of the Sun

Rev. William Branham · April 18, 1965 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

90 And, today, because He was the first Son of God to come to full maturity, to be in God, He was plucked up from the earth and is waved over

the people. Oh, what a glorious lesson! By the quickening Power, the first One! Although, He had—He had been typed; and many times, as we’ll see later, that He was typed**. But this was really the Firstfruit of them that slept. He was waved over the promised Seed that had promise of Life.**

91 He was waved at the Day of Pentecost, “when there came a sound from Heaven like a waving, mighty rushing wind,” and was waved over the people, the pentecostal people that was up at Pentecost, waiting for the Blessing to come.

92 And to be waved again, we realize, in the last day, according to Luke 17:30, in the Son day again, “in the day that the S-o-n of man will be revealed,” or waved again over the people.

93 Now, Who is the Son of man? “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.” And if all the teaching that we have, and confirmation of the Word of God; by Word of God, by signs, by wonders, we see today, that in the Book of—of Luke here, that as we just quoted from, or the—the Luke the 17th chapter and the 30th verse; and Malachi 4, and the different Scriptures that we are acquainted with, that that Word again is waved over the people, that the dead traditions of man is dead, and the Son of God is alive again with the baptism of the Holy Spirit right among us, and is giving us Life.

94 As Christ was the first One to raise, from all the prophets, and so forth; although typed in many places, He was the Firstfruits of those that slept. In the Bride, coming of Christ, coming out of the church, there’ll have to be a Sheaf waved again in the last days. Oh, my!

95 Waving of the sheaf! What was the sheaf? The first one that come to mature, the first one that proved it was a wheat, that proved it was a sheaf.

96 Hallelujah! I’m sure you see what I’m talking about. It was waved over the people. And the first time there will come forth, for the Bride age, for a resurrection out of dark denominationalism, will be a Message, that the full maturity of the Word has turned back again in Its full Power, and being waved over the people, by the same signs and wonders that He did back there.

97 “Because I live, ye live also,” speaking to His Wife. “Because I live, ye live also.” What a resurrection that that was! And what a resurrection this is, to be quickened from the dead, “to be made alive in Christ Jesus,” by God’s quickening Power.

98 He was waved to them. The Word, which He was, was waved back to them on the Day of Pentecost, the Word made manifest. Now, and as I say, It’s to be waved again in the last day. Now, for instance…

It Is the Rising of the Sun

Rev. William Branham · April 18, 1965 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

107 There was the first Sheaf come up from all the prophets, which was the Son of God, the King of all prophets.

108 There has been churches, churches, brides, brides, churches, brides, brides.

109 But there has got to come One! Hallelujah! There has to come a real Bride! There must come One that’s not only got the Mechanics, but the Dynamics of It, makes that Church live, move in the Power of His resurrection. Until we come to that place, until we find that place, what good does it do to polish the hubs? What good does it do to give her a facelift or a simonize job, when there’s no Dynamics in it? No matter how much the Mechanics prove to be right, there has got to be a Dynamics to make It work.

110 That’s what He proved! Hallelujah! That’s what Easter proved. He wasn’t only the Word, but He was God Himself, the Dynamics, in the Word. That made the body of Jesus Christ (cold, stiff, and dead, in the grave) shake into Life and rise again, and roll away the stone. “I am He that was dead,” so dead till the sun said He was dead, the moon said He was dead, the stars said He was dead. All nature said He was dead. And now the whole world has to recognize that He’s alive again. He was not only the Mechanics, God’s Word, He was the Dynamics to prove It.

Romans 8:10-23 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

It Is the Rising of the Sun

155 “If the Spirit that raised Him from the dead,” the Word, the Dynamic of the Word, “dwells in you, It also quickens your mortal body.” Now how we flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone? Because, quickly, while we’re yet mortal sinners, mortal, ready to die, these bodies, It quickens that body. What’s quicken? “Brings to Life.” The spirit that once liked to drink, run around, commit adultery, and all these, it’s quickened; why, the thing died, and you are resurrected. It quickens your mortal body.

156 Therefore, your bodies is the temple of the Dynamics*, because (why?) from the beginning you are part of the Mechanics.** Oh! There is your resurrection. There is the Church in the resurrection, with Him. These bodies right now are quickened. See, you’ve heard; you believe. It changed you from a denomination to the Word. See?

215 “If the Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you,” oh, hallelujah, “It will quicken your mortal body.” It’ll make you do things you didn’t do before. They was full of quickening Power then. See?

240 Now notice this quickening Power, Zoe, bringing the Word, the mind that was in Christ was in you then. I’m trying to show you, that, you, when you raised. When God raised Jesus from the dead, He raised up you, also. And also quickened to Life, with Him, you are now quickened to Life, although then you were but an attribute in His thoughts, but God had saw all in Him, at the finish, see. When God looked down upon the body…

241 The Spirit left Him, in the Garden of Gethsemane. He had to die, a man. Remember, friends, He didn’t have to do that. That was God. God anointed that flesh, which was human flesh. And He didn’t…If He’d a went up there, as God, He’d have never died that kind of death; can’t kill God. But He didn’t have to do it.

242 But, remember, He went there with you in Him. See, God had never separated the Bride from the Groom, yet. So when God looked down upon the body of Christ, He saw both male and female. It was all redeemed in that one body. See? They are one, same, same Word. The same Word, spoke of the Groom, speaks of the Bride.

1 Corinthians 15:42-58 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

God Providing Healing for this Generation

Rev. William Branham · July 19, 1954 · Chicago, Illinois

29 The devil put us in the pawn shop, but Jesus redeemed us. He’s our kinsman Redeemer, God made flesh, kinfolks to us, in order to redeem us from the curse of sin and sickness, and tonight, has sent the Holy Spirit to dwell with the church, and show signs and wonders of healing and salvation, until He returns again.

1 Corinthians 15:12-23 12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. It Is the Rising of the Sun

Rev. William Branham · April 18, 1965 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

73 On Easter morning, not only did He raise, but His beneficiaries raised with Him. He…They were in Christ at His crucifixion. They were in Him at His resurrection. We are His beneficiaries, quickened after being dead in darkness.

74 The darkened world of unbelief, where churches and denominations, and so forth, had drawed us out. And there’s something in us calling, “Oh, we want God! We’re hungering and thirsting for God.” We joined the Methodist, Baptist, Pentecostals, Presbyterians, and what-more, and still there was something wrong, we just couldn’t find It yet. And all of a sudden, while we was groping in darkness, the great resurrection came to us in the manifestation of the promised Word of God.

75 Like, He was the manifestation of the promised Word of God. “I will not leave His soul in hell, neither will I suffer My holy One to see corruption.” He manifested It, every Word of God that was promised to Him. He proved it when He raised on the Easter morning.

76 Now, them who were once groping in darkness and wondering around, if they should wash feet on this day, or if they should keep a certain day, or do a certain set of rules, all those things passed away. For, there was a glorious resurrection that defied every man-made thing that man had ever done, every man-made reason.

77 There had never been, to that time, a man that could lay his life down and pick it up again. He defied that scientific proof they had, by raising again.

The Breach Between The Seven Church Ages And The Seven Seal

Rev. William Branham · March 17, 1963 · Jeffersonville, Indiana

301 But the first thing, that represented that redemption, come the Lamb that had been slain from the foundation of the world. And He took the Book, (glory!) opened the Book, and tore off the Seals; and sent It down to the earth, to His seventh angel, to reveal It to His people! [Congregation greatly rejoices—Ed.] There you are. Oh, my! What happened? The screams, the shouts, the hallelujahs, the anointed, the power, the glory, the manifestation! [Congregation continues to greatly rejoice.]

302 And old John, who had been standing there, our brother, crying! “Why,” he said, “everything in Heaven, everything in the earth, and everything in the sea, heard me holler, ‘Amen! Amen! Blessings, honor, and might, and power, be to Him that lives for ever and ever.’”

303 Talk about a happy time, when them Seals broke! John must have looked in and seen a past the curtain of time, and said, “There is John.” Oh, oh!

263 We are tired of such stuff as that. Get back! You’re eagles; back to the Word of God! Be burly; nothing can hurt your feelings, therefore you’re free from all the scandal of man. Whatever anybody says against you, that just brings more love. Amen. And, quickening Power, caught away into the Heavenlies, a eagle that’s done flew above the chickens, way up yonder in the Heavenly places in Christ Jesus! Oh! It was on Philip. That quickened him, caught him away.

The Easter Seal

Rev. William Branham · April 10, 1965 · Phoenix, Arizona

99 They’re led by the Spirit, to quicken the Word to you who is believers. The Word keeps quickening, as you come to first limb, second limb, third limb, on up. It just keeps quickening. The Spirit of God keeps quickening to you.

100 Notice that, Pentecost, their bodies were quickened by the new Life they received. That makes me feel religious. Think. Now, here was men, fishermen, tax collectors, the humble little women of…and just ordinary housewives, little virgin girls. They were believers. They were believing that this was the Truth. They believed that, when Jesus died (They believed on Him.) and rose up again, from the dead, they believed that to be the absolutely testimony of God, that He had quickened Him to life.

101 Now, they go up, to the Day of Pentecost, to receive their abstract. Do you know what an abstract is? Is when a deed has been cleared. They went up there to receive their abstract. And they become quickened, or what a thrill! They had bought the land; been bought for them. They had received it.

The True Easter Seal

Rev. William Branham · April 2, 1961 · Phoenix, Arizona

114 Now we are resurrected today. Why can we have such a time over the things of God? Because we are resurrected. “Those who He foreknew, He called; those who He called, He justified; those who He justified, He has glorified.” Then we are now resurrected. We are resurrected from the inside out, not from the outside in. Oh! Do you notice? Not sealed out, this way, but sealed in. Oh, my, if the church could just see it! See, we’re not sealed out, we’re sealed in. Them days, when sin was—was abomination before God, and there was no appropriation to take it away, we were sealed away from it. Now when that ripped in two, and that seal was broke by a sin-offering being made from us, now we’re baptized inside, and sealed inside. We are resurrected. We are now resurrected, already resurrected. How do you know? The Bible said so! Amen. We are now resurrected. We are now raised with Him in spiritual resurrection. What does the word quickened mean? Quickened means “resurrection.” That’s right. We’re already resurrected, right now, sitting together in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus, enjoying the Easter Seal. Amen. That’s God’s true Easter Seal. How are we? By one Spirit baptized into the Body, and Sealed Eternally. We are now raised, spiritually. What did we raise from? From a life of sin, we were once sinners and loved the things of the world.

115 Now, there’s many people say that they have been raised, but their life proves different. Your life proves what you are. “By their fruits you shall know them,” Jesus said. That’s the reason we never could go upon making a man speak in tongues and say he’s got the Holy Ghost. We don’t believe that. There’s no Scripture for that. No, sir. Men speak with tongues and go on out and live like the world. And women speak in tongues and bob off their hair, wear make-up. Huh! You couldn’t say that was the Holy Ghost. Surely not, certainly not, certainly not. A man smoke cigars, and go out here and live with the next man’s wife, run around, carry on, say that’s the Holy Ghost? No, no. “By their fruits you shall know them. A corrupt tree cannot bring forth good fruits, neither does a good tree bring forth corrupt fruits.”

116 We are sealed by the Holy Ghost, God’s true Easter Seal. We are sealed into the Body of Christ, Eternally Sealed. Not a seal for a space of time; but for Eternity. And now that person that’s received that, is raised from the dead, from a life of sin. What is it? His Spirit has been raised, his—his ambitions are raised, his life has been raised, he is a new creature. And he comes together with fellow citizens, like we are this morning, to pray for one another, and to help one another, to encourage one another, and to set and gather in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus, sealed by the Holy Ghost. “For ye are dead, and your life is hid in Christ, through God, sealed by the Holy Ghost,” Scripture said. That’s the Scripture. Now you see we’re sealed by the Easter Seal. The Easter Seal of resurrection, which confirmed that His life and what He had said was true. Now we find out it’s a complete work, it’s a finished product. God’s resurrection is a finished product. The Holy Ghost is God’s Seal of a finished product.
