It reminds me of those beautiful words of I Peter 1:8, "Whom having not seen, ye love; in Whom, though now ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory." With them we rejoice also. We haven't seen Him, but we have felt Him. We know Him now as much as our limiting senses can let us. But one day it will be face to face. That is for this age. He is coming at the end of this age. Partial realization will be made PERFECT REALIZATION, COMPLETED REALIZATION. Hallelujah! We have been looking through a glass darkly, but soon it will be face to face. We have been going from glory to glory, but soon it will be right in the glory; and in HIS GLORY WE'LL SHINE. WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM, WONDROUSLY LIKE HIM, JESUS OUR SAVIOUR DIVINE! Isn't that wonderful? We are complete in Him. That is true. He would not lie to us about that. But one day we will be changed in the atoms. We will put on immortality. We will be all swallowed up in life. Then we will REALIZE REALIZATION.

Have you ever noticed how the world gets into the spirit of things that are in the world? They go to their ball games, their sporting events, and their dances. They enter into the spirit of it.* They don't sit there like wall flowers, old dried up sticks. They enter right into the feel of things and become a part of things.** But, oh, how they hate the Christians for getting into the Spirit of God's Word. They call us fanatics and holy-rollers. There is nothing they won't do to show their hatred and disapproval. But ignore that. You can expect it, knowing where it is coming from. Just go on and get in the Spirit of worship.
Our spirit is clean. It is fresh. It is real. It is sober and serious but nonetheless, full of the joy of the Lord. The Christian ought to be just as exuberant and full of his pleasure in the Lord as the world is when it savors and delights in its pleasures. Both Christians and the world are human; both have emotions. The difference is the Christians' hearts and emotions are purely on the Lord of Glory and His love, while the world satisfies the flesh.

You just take…Today is a compromising time. That's true. You paint your steps red and watch and see if your neighbor don't paint his steps red. Sure. If you want to match something, match your experience against Paul's. Amen. That's what we need today, is a matching time with Paul's faith in the Bible. That's our example. Right. Real matching time…Don't try to match your neighbor; match—match some of the saints of the Bible. 28 Separating time…This borderline believing, this halfway, lukewarm, do you know the Bible said this day would come? The Laodicean Church Age, He said you'd just be lukewarm and make God sick at His stomach. He said He'd spue you from His mouth. The Laodicean, just enough religion to make you sick. We're still longing for the things of the world, say, "I'd better not do that." Oh, brother, if I wanted to do it, I'd do it. But I know tonight that there's a good, old fashion baptism of the Holy Ghost that makes you love God so well you don't care to do it any more. Amen.
It's the joy unspeakable and full of glory. How the old saints of God used to set around and sing the redemption song, and sing of the Blood and the power of God. And today it's as cold as zero nearly. You don't have them old fashion songs you used to sing. You don't see their faces light up no more, and sing and clap their hands, and raise their hands to God, and praise God, pray all night, and lay out in the corn fields, and things. Why, you can't set in church thirty minutes without grumbling and growling. True. It's the truth. Borderline, lukewarm, Laodicean…My, shame on you.

You might be full of creeds from some church, some little prayers that you say, you think it's going to pray to some dead person, or—or make some kind of a sign across you. God be merciful to you.

If you are full of religion, you're miserable; just religion, that's all. If you're full of creeds, you don't know what you're talking about. If you're full of the world, you're blind.
