154But, brother, when you hear that scream, there’s Something in you! You’re a eagle, to begin with. Why? You are that Seed, that the resurrection of the S-o-n has dawned, and the wave Sheaf upon the earth, to make you recognize that you are a eagle and not a denominational chicken. You see it? Hah!
155“If the Spirit that raised Him from the dead,” the Word, the Dynamic of the Word, “dwells in you, It also quickens your mortal body.” Now how we flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone? Because, quickly, while we’re yet mortal sinners, mortal, ready to die, these bodies, It quickens that body. What’s quicken? “Brings to Life.” The spirit that once liked to drink, run around, commit adultery, and all these, it’s quickened; why, the thing died, and you are resurrected. It quickens your mortal body.
156Therefore, your bodies is the temple of the Dynamics, because (why?) from the beginning you are part of the Mechanics. Oh! There is your resurrection. There is the Church in the resurrection, with Him. These bodies right now are quickened. See, you’ve heard; you believe. It changed you from a denomination to the Word. See?

101Now, they go up, to the Day of Pentecost, to receive their abstract. Do you know what an abstract is? Is when a deed has been cleared. They went up there to receive their abstract. And they become quickened, or what a thrill! They had bought the land; been bought for them. They had received it.

105Now, but when they went up to Pentecost, there they received the quickening power, the power that made them alive.
106Now there’s where I think that, you Presbyterian and Methodist brethren, you do receive potentially on believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, but the abstract hasn’t come yet. That’s the clearing of the deed.
107God gave Abraham a promise. Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness. But He sealed the covenant by the seal of circumcision.
108And God gives you a promise, potentially, that you will receive it, and you’re going to be raised up, this body is going to be glorified with Him at the end time. But, you see, you have to get a clearance on that deed. And the clearance is when everything against it has been stricken off, and you got the abstract to it. You’ve got the seal. It’s yours. Everything is on it belongs to you. Amen.
109And when we believe on Jesus Christ for our Saviour, and repent and are baptized, and come up to believe Him; God recognizes our repentance and our faith towards Him, and sends down the abstract. And the abstract is the assurance. It’s the guarantee that, everything was ever held against you, you thoroughly repented. Hallelujah! And the property is boughten, and you hold the abstract for the assurance.
110Let somebody try to put you off the land, say he belongs, and you with the abstract in your hand. Let him try to do it. There ain’t a law in the land can do it, because you hold the abstract.
111And there’s no devil, no church, or any theology, that can overstep the boundaries of God’s proof and abstract, that the baptism of the Holy Ghost has recognized us in Jesus Christ. We’re just as sure to raise as He raised, because potentially we have already raised in Him. Amen.
112The old things. What does it do to our mortal bodies? It turns our opinion, changes our notions. It sets our affections on things which are Above. And the smoking, drinking, gambling, the things that you used to do, is dead. It’s beneath you.
113And you are quickened. And this quickening power brings your body into a raptured condition, already. Notice the pentecostal people up there, when they got quickened by the Holy Spirit. Listen to me. When those pentecostal group up there, on the Day of Pentecost, received their abstract deed from God, sure, it glorified their souls. They screamed. They saw tongues of Fire separated upon each of them. And it so quickened their body, till they couldn’t even speak in an earthly language anymore. It quickened their body to a Heavenly language, the Place they’re going to. Quickening power of God shook their mortal bodies so, till their entire mortal language was transfigured, transformed into an immortal language. What a quickening power! What? Something that belongs.

240Now notice this quickening Power, Zoe, bringing the Word, the mind that was in Christ was in you then. I’m trying to show you, that, you, when you raised. When God raised Jesus from the dead, He raised up you, also. And also quickened to Life, with Him, you are now quickened to Life, although then you were but an attribute in His thoughts, but God had saw all in Him, at the finish, see. 241The Spirit left Him, in the Garden of Gethsemane. He had to die, a man. Remember, friends, He didn’t have to do that. That was God. God anointed that flesh, which was human flesh. And He didn’t… If He’d a went up there, as God, He’d have never died that kind of death; can’t kill God. But He didn’t have to do it.
242But, remember, He went there with you in Him. See, God had never separated the Bride from the Groom, yet. So when God looked down upon the body of Christ, He saw both male and female. It was all redeemed in that one body. See? They are one, same, same Word. The same Word, spoke of the Groom, speaks of the Bride.

126Although, they only was His attributes, to begin with. But if God said, “In this day,” back in the beginning, “John Doe will be My servant,” millions of years ago. Now, John Doe is born in sin, shaped in iniquity, come to the world speaking lies, because he’s a mortal. But, maybe, he gets a little religious feeling. He’ll go join a church. Maybe he’ll join Pentecostal church. Don’t know. He might join anything. But let him get under the atmosphere of God, once. See? John Doe is bound to recognize Who his Father is, just as that eagle recognized who the mother was. It’s got to realize it. See? Only, that John Doe is God’s attribute that’s become a word, spoken, and then the Holy Spirit seeks that word out. Here it is. He calls him, gives him everlasting Life, and brings him into the Presence of God, God’s Word.
127Look. God had the same when He saw Jesus. It was the—it was the finished work that God finished with Jesus, when He said, “It’s finished.” All the plan was finished.
128And when the Spirit of God comes upon you, and you truly are one of God’s attributes that He spoken of. Now, if you’re not, you’ll wonder and flusterate, and run here and there, and everything else, and never come to the knowledge of the Truth. [Blank spot on tape—Ed.] If you are one of those, the old things pass away right quick, see, and you become new, and the plan of salvation is finished. You’re ready to obey every Word that God ever spoke of you, see, for you to do. You’re submissive to His Word. The contract, exactly, the abstract to the contract, the title deed belongs to you. The debts are all paid. It’s all struck off, and as it was at the Day of Pentecost.

136But here on the Day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit, the abstract fell upon the believers. That made them part of His resurrection, made him part of His fellowship. The Holy Spirit came and confirmed to them that they would be raised up, because they were potentially raised then, from cowards to brave men.

He was changing Himself, making Himself known to His people in a different form. Like, the Holy Spirit, which is God, He came to deal through the church ages, as Son of God, the Holy Spirit.
53But, in the Millennium, He comes as Son of David, to set on the throne of David, King. He was to take the throne of David. He is on the Father’s throne now. And then He said, “He that overcometh shall set with Me on My throne, as I’ve overcome and set on My Father’s throne.” So, He, in the Millennium, He’ll be Son of David. What is it? The same God, all the time, just changing His—His mask. I am, to my wife, a husband.
54Did you notice? The Syrophenician woman said, “Thou Son of David, have mercy.” He, never even bothered Him, at all. She had no rights to call Him that. She had no claims on Him as Son of David. He was…He is the Son of David, to the Jew. And now He come…But when she called Him, “Lord,” He was her Lord, then she got what she asked for. Now, as, He is just changing Himself.
55Now, in my home, I’m three different people. In my home, my wife has claims on me as husband. My daughter out there, she doesn’t have any claims on me as husband; I am her father. And my little grandson there, I’m grandfather to him, so he has no right to call me father. I’m not his father. My son is his father. I am his grandfather. But I’m still the same man.
56And God, what He does, He just changes Himself, to become to that generation, to make known Himself to that people. And that’s what we’re here to find out, tonight. In what way is God supposed to make Hisself known to this people and in this time? He changes His mask, He changes His act, but He doesn’t change His disposition. He doesn’t change His—His nature. He just changes His mask, from one to another. He does it, to reveal Himself more plain to the people, that they might know who He is, and what He is.

And when the entire Word of God, in complete, was headed up in a human body called Jesus Christ, in there God made me pay for my sins, in Him there. Then He rose me, raised me up with Him, in the resurrection. And now we are seated with Him, with power and authority over every devil. Oh, if you could only believe what God has given! But if you’re not seated there, you don’t have it. And if you’re seated there, and don’t believe it, and afraid to move, you’ll never use it. But if you are seated there, you will use it, for you’re ordained to do what you do.

That’s His army; that’s His soldiers; that’s His commanding officers, all with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, waiting out there to meet the enemy on any grounds he comes upon; to meet the enemy with the Word of God (Amen.), each one backing one another up, with Him the Chief Captain, not out there in front, up here, above, back behind; but in them. That’s the army. Vindicating, vindicating what? His resurrection, by the proof of His works.

226Reflecting the Light of God into the Church, right straight from the Throne of God, not through a seminary, not through some bishop, but from the Throne of God, by a revelation of the power of His resurrection, making Him the same yesterday and forever; them seven stars standing there reflecting that Light, the Shekinah Light, from the Shekinah Glory from the Holiest of holy. Seven lamps on fire, setting on top of these candlesticks, reflecting His Light, His colors, of His power of His resurrection, right into the Church. Amen! Hmm! …

22Mr. Best got up there and laughed two or three times and preached a very good Campbellite sermon. I’m a Baptist. I know what Baptist doctrine is. So he preached a Campbellite sermon on the resurrection. He didn’t even believe the miracles of Jesus Christ did. Lazarus died again. He preached in all in the resurrection when this mortal puts on immortality. Of course, any Christian believes that, that there’d be a resurrection, but if there’s no attributes of the resurrection, if there’s no earnest of the resurrection, then there is no resurrection.
If there is no Divine healing, then there is no resurrection. Now, you couldn’t disprove that if you could by the Scripture. See? I’m arguing the points of Christ. See? Because we have the earnest of our salvation, which is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Is that right? That’s the down payment, the earnest which holds it secure in heaven for us. And then if there is no Divine healing to make a cancer-ridden body come normal and well again, there is no resurrection of the dead (That’s right.); we have no earnest of it at all; there’s no plan made for it. So that settled it. Mr. Best commence to going on, and the audience actually laughed at him.
And so he said, “Let me see that Divine healer come forth and perform.” He got real angry, and he said, “Let me see that Divine healer come forth and perform.”
