Ephesians 6:10-12 10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
2 Timothy 2:3-4 3Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

52Now, do you know, we’ve had wars after wars, and rumors of wars? And if the earth stands, we’ll have plenty more wars. But do you realize that there is really only two powers in all the universe? Of all of our differences between nations, and differences between each other, and everything, it all mounts up to two powers. There’s only two powers, and there’s only two kingdoms; two powers, and two kingdoms. All the rest, the little minor things, are connected with either one of those powers. And those powers is God’s power and Satan’s power. That’s what…Every war, every disorder, everything that comes along, it’s either controlled by God’s power or Satan’s power, ’cause that’s the only two powers there is. And that is the power of life and the power of death. Now, that’s the only two powers.

154Now, remember, there’s only two. Don’t forget this. There’s only two powers. One is spiritual power, of the Holy Spirit. The other one is the Devil, working through intellectual power. For, that’s where he entered, in the garden of Eden, through intellectual powers, to make Eve believe in intellectual conception, against the Word. Just as plain as it can be, the kids could get that. See? See? And that’s the way it’s been, all the way down.
The First Seal

63Notice what happens, as we go along. Here is the plan of it. The first thing happens, there is a—a—an announcement in the Heavens, first. What happens? A Seal is opened. What is that? A mystery is unfolded. See? And when a mystery unfolds, then a trumpet sounds. It declares a war. A plague falls, and a church age opened. See?
64What is the “war” part? The angel of the Church catches the mystery of God, not fully yet revealed. But, when he does, he catches this mystery of God, and then he goes forth to the people after the mystery has been given to him. Goes forth to the people! What does he do out there? He begins to proclaim that Message. And what does it start? A war, a spiritual war.

14You’ve got to go do it. And you’ve got to fight for every inch of ground that you have. Every man in here that’s born again of the Spirit of God, knows that you’ve had to fight for every inch of ground, toe the mark with Satan. Isn’t that right? Friends, this is not a picnic. This is a battleground. See? We never come here to—to eat cookies and—and so forth. We’re in a battle.

8Remember, we are not on a picnic, but we’re in a battlefield. Many people just think that when they become a Christian that that’s all they need to do, that that settles it forever, as they are a Christian and everything’s going to come easy. Don’t never get that in your head. For, I become a Christian to fight, fight the good fight of faith. I become a Christian, to get in the battle lines. We are Christian soldiers, and we got to be trained and brought up, and know all the techniques of the enemy, to know how to fortify, to know how to—to fight the fight. And we can only do that as the Holy Spirit will reveal it to us. We cannot take what some other nation tells us when we go to war, some of their ideas. But we got to take our own ideas, the way the Holy Spirit would direct us, and what ideas He would give us, because He is the Commandering Chief of the army of the Christians.

16…But the battle is on, right against wrong, skepticism against the Word of God, faith against unbelief. O Father may the Angels of God wave their white flag, the banners of the cross, and may the Holy Spirit rise tonight. May signs and wonders be done. We give You all things, believing them…

79That’s right, you’ve got to know the Word! Stay on the Word! See, the great battle is at hand. Now, we’ve played church for years and years, but the hour has come now that when Jambres and Jannes will withstand Moses as the Bible said they would. And it’s going to be spiritual battle, conflict. There will be some just continue on, the denominational church will just move right on into domination and go on the way it goes. But I mean the real true believer is coming to that battlefield, and you had better be versed and know what you’re doing, or you could take an evil spirit so easy and not know. If it’s contrary to this Word, don’t believe it! Stay with that Word!
2 Corinthians 11:1-4 1Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. 2For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ . . .
PAUL WAS TO WATCH OVER THEM.
. . . 3But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

80Love one another, above everything. Love one another. Don’t…No matter what the devil tries to say! Now you’re all one great big sweet group now, but remember my warning, see, Satan won’t let that stay that way. No, sir. He’ll shoot everything, if he has to bring somebody in to make his target. He’ll bring some critic or unbeliever in, and sit him down, and cause him to fellowship with you under the quietness and things, and then he’ll shoot that guy with some kind of a poison stuff, and he’ll start through the church with it. Don’t you take sides with it. Don’t you have nothing to do with anything else. You stay right loving and sweet and kind to one another. Pray for that man, that he’ll be saved too, or that woman, or ever who it is, just pray for them. And stick one with another.
81And stay with your pastor. See, he’s the shepherd, and you give him respects. He’ll lead you through, and, ’cause he’s ordained of God to do so.

2And someday over in a better land, setting down by the banks of the river, where the Tree of Life is blooming on either side, may every person that’s in Divine Presence be there. Grant it, Lord. May they have a lovely home. We can set down in the quietness of evening and spend a endless Eternity together. Help us now while the battle is on to hoist up the flag and polish the shield and go forward in faith. We ask, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

149The great hour of charge is at hand. Hallelujah! Soldier, with armors gleaming, colors streaming! Faith and doubt is setting yourself in array, in this tabernacle, this morning; doubt on one side, faith on the other. Soldiers, stand at your post of duty. Hallelujah! Our Captain, the Morning Star, leads on. He never goes back. He (never) don’t know the word retreat. He don’t have to retreat. Amen. Certainly.
150The greatest battle ever fought, she is going on right in here now, yes, sir, between life and death, between sickness and health, between faith and doubt, oh, my, between liberty and bondage. The battle is on! Shine your spears, soldiers. Polish up the armor. God is getting His soldiers ready. Amen. God anoints His army.
151America dresses their soldiers in the best that they can have to dress with: steel helmets, and armors, and whatever they got, armored tanks, whatever they go in.
152God dresses His army. Hallelujah! What kind of equipment do we use? The Spirit of the Sword, the Word of God! Amen! “The Word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword,” Hebrews 4, “piercing even to the asunder the bone, even the—the marrow of the bone, even a Discerner of the thoughts of the mind.” The Word of God! To believe His Word, and that’s the way God armors.
153That’s what He give Eve to arm herself with. And she broke her armor down. How’d she do it? By opening up her mind to reason. You don’t reason with God’s Word. It has no reason. You…It’s just God’s Word. There’s no—there’s no doubt about It. There’s no reasoning to It. It’s God’s Word. That settles it. That’s got it. That settles it forever.

69Where the battle is, is right up there with Satan. Not somebody who kisses the babies, and—and buries the dead, and—and carries a penknife; but somebody with a two-handed sword, right up in the front of the battle. That’s the one, see. That’s the thing that counts. That’s where the heat of the battle is on. That’s where the enemy stands.
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

80As we continue a moment, with the slaves, and our thought. There was a proclamation, Emancipation of the Proclamation, that was signed, and the slaves was going to be free upon a certain day. You don’t know, oh, if you’ve, never met Christ, you never know what that meant to them slaves. When it went, the message throughout the land, that, “You’re going to be free on such-and-such a day, at daylight. You’re going to be free. You’ll not have to wear slave belts anymore, neither will you get any more whippings. But you are free, and you are a citizen of this great United States. You are not no more a slave, after daylight on a certain-certain morning.” Oh, with, great anticipations, they waited.
81If the sinner could only see that! If the sinner would only hear the true Gospel! Not the joining of as church; but the preaching of the Gospel, that you can be free from sin, that you can be free from your sickness. “At a certain-certain time,” that’s the time you believe.
82You know, those slaves were so excited and under such anticipation, waiting for the hour that they would be free, until, they tell me, that they gathered at the bottom of the hill, mothers and little children, all gathered, and some of the old. And they climbed up to the top of the hill, around, midnight. They knowed when the day breaked and the sun come up, that they would be free. It wouldn’t take over one half of a minute to shine the sun from the top of the hill, but some of them was up on top the hill, watching, watching. “Oh, when the sun rises, we are free.” That was the s-o-n…or, s-u-n.
83But when the S-o-n rises one of these days! And when the S-o-n rose some nineteen hundred years ago, He broke every slave belt, He set every captive free, He healed every sickness, He gave freedom to those who are in bondage. How we ought to climb and watch!
84And when the sun peeped up, first, the man was at the highest, saw it, and, he shouted down to the next man, “We are free!” And the next man shouted to the man farther down the hill, “We are free!” Until it come to the camp, “We are free!” For, the sun was arising, they were waiting, waiting, waiting for that hour.
85How much more ought we to be waiting, today, for the S-o-n of God. We are free from sin. We are free from the shackles. We are free from habits. We are free from smoking, drinking, carousing, because the S-o-n of God has raised from the grave and has broke every fetter. All condemnation is gone! The debt has been paid. The penalty is paid. The sins are washed away, and we are free. Oh, we are free, people! Slavery? Freedom, when the Son of God rises with healing in His wings!
God Doesn’t Call Man To Judgment Without First Warning Him

40Now, because, we have a responsibility that we’ve got to answer to God someday for. Every man that come on the face of the earth has to answer to God for a responsibility. And, to many of us, a stewardship, we have to answer for. We…This responsibility is a stewardship that’s been committed to us by God, I don’t care what it is. As I said a few moments ago, “a housewife,” then be a genuine housewife. That’s right. If it’s to be a farmer, be a genuine farmer. Whatever it is that God has put you to do, you got a stewardship to that, you’ve got to answer to God for, because it takes all these things to do it.

47Now, we’re all born, a free moral agent, to make any decision that we wish to. God justly does that. Because, He must put every man on the same basis, or He put the wrong man on…He put the first man on the wrong basis, that He put on free moral agency. See? We’re just exactly, tonight, like Adam and Eve. There’s no different. Right and wrong sets before either one of us. Life and death, we can make our choice; up to you, to make it. See?
48That’s the way Adam and Eve did, and, see, and—and they made the wrong choice. And now, by that, put the whole race, of human race, under death, the penalty of death.
49And then God came down in the form of man and took that death, and paid the penalty of death, that the…His subjects that desired to—to be free could go free.

64Like the world. Jesus said, “You cannot serve God and mammon.” Mammon is the “world.” Can’t serve God and world at the same time.
65We have our choice. We can be germitized by God, by His Holy Spirit, and we have Eternal Life. If we don’t, when we die, that’s it. We’re ready for the Judgment then, why we didn’t do it, then the punishment. It follows that, for rejecting It.

74Samson prayed right, “Lord, let me die with these Philistines.” Oh, my! See what it’s going to cost him? What if God answers his prayer? “Let me die.” Oh! I like that.
75Was it Patrick Henry said, “Give me liberty or give me death”? That’s right.
76All right, that’s it, liberty or death! It’s back to God, or—or death. What are we going to do? What are we mimicking? What are we try to play, Christianity? If the Holy Ghost is still the Holy Ghost that fell at Pentecost, It still does the same things It did then. The same Power, the same Spirit, It’ll work the same way. We don’t need a council of churches. We need the Bible back in action. That’s exactly.
77Now we find out that Samson prayed right, “Lord, let me die with the enemy,” die to the enemy that had got him in that way. If there is anything that people ought to pray for, tonight! And we see the thing that’s done this, is getting away from the Bible, to a creed. Then, die with the thing, get out of it! Die to it. Samson was willing to pay the price to get the Power of God back again. There is a price to be paid for It, but, today, the people don’t seem to do it.

288If he’s a president…Where is our John Quincy Adamses? Where is our Abraham Lincolns, men of principle? Where is our Patrick Henry, said, “Give me liberty or give me death”?
289Where is a man that stands for what’s right? Where is the man that’s not afraid to speak out? Regardless, the whole world’s against him, speak out for what’s right; and stand for it and die for it. Where is our Arnold von Winkelried again today? Where is men of integrity? Where is men with spirit? They’re so wishy-washy and gaumed up until they don’t know where they stand.
290God, let me stand with the principles of one Man, as a minister, the Word of Jesus Christ. “For heavens and earth will pass away, but It’ll never fail. On this Rock I’ll build My Church; the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

The Token
March 8, 1964 · Dallas, Texas
152That’s a cutting Message, but it’s the Truth. That’s what we need, is Truth. God help us to know Truth. “You shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.” I claim that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I believe that God gives the Holy Ghost as a Token, right now, just before the exodus, of the—of the Bride going out of the church.
153I believe there is so much tommyrot, and people saying they shouted, they spoke in tongues. I believe in those things; but you can’t rely on that. How can you rely on that, and then deny the Word? See?
154The Token is the Word identified in you, living Itself out. That’s God being His Own interpreter. You don’t have to say, “Well, now, you interpret my tongue.” That ain’t it. He interprets your life by the Word. When He takes your word, what you are, and identify His Word through there, there don’t need any interpretation, it’s already there. God does His Own interpretation, and we’ve had these promises for the day.
2 Corinthians 10:4-6 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 AMP 3For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. 4For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, 5[Inasmuch as we] refute) (ESV-Destroy) arguments and theories and reasonings (ESV-lofty opinions) and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)…
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 CJB 3For although we do live in the world, we do not wage war in a worldly way; 4because the weapons we use to wage war are not worldly. On the contrary, they have God’s power for demolishing strongholds. We demolish arguments 5and every arrogance that raises itself up against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey the Messiah.
