272Then look. You say, “Well, now, Brother Branham, do you mean to tell me there’s going to be…that—that people that’s going to be there at the White Throne Judgment?” They’ll . . . The Bride will never be judged. No, sir. She’s in Christ. How do you get in Christ? “By one Spirit we are all baptized into one Body.” Is that right?

“The Bride will never be judged. No, sir. She’s in Christ.”

273Now, look, look here. The Bible said, “Judgment was set, and the Books were opened.” Is that right? Books of sinners. “And another Book was opened,” which is the Book of Life, and every man was judged thus. Is that right? And who was doing the judging? Jesus and the Saints. He said, “He came to minister, Who is our Ancient of Days, Whose hair is like wool.” And said, “Ten thousand times ten thousands come with Him, and ministered to Him in the Judgment.” Here Jesus returns as King and Queen, the Wedding’s over, and He’s married. Here’s King and Queen standing here. And there stands that sanctified bunch, God said, “Stand to My right side here.” That’s the Book was opened, was sinners, “Get over on My left.” Here’s the ones that had their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

168“White hair!” All . . . anybody knows that’s the old judges in ancient days. Like English judges used to wear a snow-white wig. How many remembers that? Old ancient judges wore a white wig because they was…And here He is, showing again that John’s over in the Lord’s day, he saw Him as the judge. Amen! Not as priest, not as king, not as prophet, but as judge. The Father (It’s Saint John 5:22) committed all judgment to Him. And He’s judge now, come to judge the nations. Oh for that day when you see Him like that! His hair was as white as snow, Daniel saw Him coming to the Ancient of days. Watch Him blend these two together. All right.

“For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.” John 5:22

170Come to the Ancient of days whose hair was white as wool. And John turned and he saw one like the Son of man standing in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks, with a snow-white hair, the Judge! Not girded around the waist, but girded around the paps, up here, a judge! With the sash of the judge over His shoulder, He stood with a golden, pure, holy, refined, girdle that held His righteousness. His cover! He was covered all the way to the feet. Watch the sevenfold manifestation of His person and glory.

187“Head, white as wool,” righteousness, experience, eloquence, sufficient, wisdom. Aged, white, speaks of wisdom, old. Knows what He’s doing. He’s the—He’s the Fountain of wisdom. He’s the Fountain of experience. He’s the Fountain of every good thing, therefore He’s represented in this one like the Son of man, was clothed with this white hair hanging down. Daniel saw Him many hundred years, seven hundred years, and said, “He was the Ancient of days. And one like the Son of man come in power and united with this Ancient of days, and the judgment was set.”

256Oh! It’s breathtaking, friend. See Him standing there in the supreme…the supremity of His Deity. He’s the Judge, the Priest, the King, the Eagle, the Lamb, the Lion, the Alpha, the Omega, the Father, Son, Holy Ghost; He that was, which is, and shall come. Tread out the winepress of the fierceness of God, and pleased everything, until God said at the cross…When He raised up, He said, “It’s finished!” Pleased God so, till the Spirit that left Him come back on Easter morning and picked Him up and rose Him again for our justification.

257There John looked up and saw Him standing there with feet of brass, eyes like flames of fire running to and fro throughout the earth. Daniel saw Him seven hundred years before that, in the same position, the same kind, same man standing there, the Ancient of days, and one like the Son of man that joined in with Him, and all judgment was committed to Him, standing at the White Throne Judgment.

63You see the picture the other day, how He turned that picture sideways there? And the very picture of those seven Angels being lifted up, turn it to the right-hand side, and there is the face of the Lord Jesus looking down to the earth again.

64You remember when I preached The Seven Church Ages, I couldn’t understand why Jesus standing there with a “white” over His head. He was a young Man. I took it back in the Bible, it said, “He came to the Ancient of Days, Whose hair was white as wool.” Jesus was only thirty-three and a half years old, at His crucifixion.

65I called up Brother Jack Moore, a theologian. He said, “Oh, Brother Branham, that’s Jesus in His glorified stage.” Said, “After His death, burial, and resurrection, He turned to that.” That sounded all right for a theologian, but it didn’t go good, it didn’t hit the something.

66I went up there and started on that first church age, there the Holy Spirit revealed it. Now you got it right on your Church Ages. I guess the books will be out pretty soon now, the full detail of it. And it showed that Jesus was Judge. There is a white wig that they used to wear, put a wig on and wear it as a judge, England still does it when you got supreme authority. And that turning sideways in this picture, there He is, His black hair, you can see it in the side of His beard, and the white wig on. He is the last of the authority, He is Supreme Authority. Even God said so, Himself, “This is My beloved Son, hear ye Him.”

67There He is with them Angels, the Message, which was the seven breaking of them seven seals that revealed serpent seed and all these things here. And it shows that it is His very covering, it’s—it’s His Supreme Authority. He is Supreme, and He is wigged, or—or covered. The Bible said that He changed His countenance, or He changed Himself, en morphe. The word comes from the Greek word, en morphe, which means a Greek actor that plays many parts; today he is one thing, in the next act he is something else. He was God, the Father, in one act; God, the Son, in another act; and then God, the Holy Ghost, in this act. See? There He is, His Word is still Supreme. We’re living in the last days.

Scriptures & Definitions

Philippians 2:6-7 “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.”

En Morphe (In-mor-fay): In the form of or in the appearance of; the form of, outward appearance or shape, bodily form; the form by which a person or thing strikes the vision.

Mark 16:12 “After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.”

Spiritual Food In Due Season

80I got in the room there and got to speaking to God. I run my concordance to take Him back to Daniel, where it said, “And he came to the Ancient of Days Whose hair was white as wool.” I said, “Lord, I—I—I don’t know what to say, and I’ve got the responsibility.” Now, that was before the se-…and remember, before the Seven Seals was opened, about a year or more, before. I was praying there, “Lord, what was it?”

81And I looked, standing before me, and there stood a man and he was a judge, and he had a white wig on. The old judges of ancient days used to wear a white wig to show that he was a supreme authority.

82And then when I seen Jesus with the white wig, I said it only vindicates the truth that we know, that He is the Supreme Authority. God witnessed the same thing on Mount Transfiguration, said, “This is My beloved Son, hear Him, the Supreme Authority!”

A Thinking Man’s Filter

32I had read over in the Book of the…of Daniel, where he came to “the Ancient of Days, Whose hair was as white as wool.” Then I seen that Ancient of Days. He was that Ancient of Days, the same yesterday, today, and forever. See, it was a symbol, then.

Why the white wool? And then I…The Holy Spirit seemed to speak to me about a picture I saw one time, of an ancient judge. Then I went to the history; I went back into the Bible history and all, to find out. And the old judges, like the high priest in Israel, he had to have that white, gray woolly-like hair and beard, because the white over him signified that he was supreme authority of the judges in Israel.

And even in today, and down to a few hundred years ago, maybe a couple hundred years ago, or maybe not like that, later than that. All the English judges, no matter how young they was or how old they was, when they went in for judgment, they wore a white wig; and to show that there’s no other authority, in that kingdom, above their word. Their word is the ultimate of the kingdom. What they say, that’s all of it.

33And now, then, I seen that. There He was standing there, yet a young Man, but the white wig on. He was the full, supreme Authority. He was the Word. And He’s having, wearing the white wig.

34Then, later on when we got through, and the—the sermon, and went out west, and when the Angels of the Lord appeared out there for the Seven Seals, and it went up into the air (which we have the picture of it here, and around over the country), there He was standing there, still wigged with that supreme authority. He is the Head of the Church. He’s Head of the Body. There is nothing like Him, anywhere. “He made all things by Himself. He made all things for Himself, and without He there wasn’t nothing made.” “He has all authority in Heavens and earth,” and everything belongs to Him. “And in Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” “And the Word was God, and made flesh among us.” And He was the One Who revealed the entire secret of the whole plan of salvation, that all the prophets and wise men had spoke of. He alone was that wigged One and supreme Authority.

The Invisible Union of the Bride of Christ

214Your name of your first nature, was born, and put in a book of life. And all your deeds was wrote in it, too. Everything you done under that nature was put in a book, called the book of life.

215You notice, in Daniel, when he come to “the Ancient of Days, Whose hair was as white as wool. Ten thousand times ten thousands came with Him, to minister to Him; the—the Bride. And then the books were opened.” “And another Book was opened, which was the Book of Life.” See? There is saints already there, the Church, the Bride. “Another Book was opened, which was the Book of Life.”

1. His Hair as White as Snow

An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages

Chapter 2, The Patmos Vision

John first notices and mentions the whiteness of His hair. It was white, and as bright as snow. This was not because of His age. Oh, no. The brilliantly white hair does not signify age but experience, maturity, and wisdom. The Eternal One does not age. What is time to God? Time means little to God, but wisdom means much. It is as when Solomon called to God for wisdom to judge the people of Israel. Now He is coming, the Judge of all the earth. He will be crowned with wisdom. That is what the white and glistening hair signifies.

See this in Daniel 7:9-14, “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of Days did sit, Whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like the pure wool: His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him: thousand thousands ministered unto Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: the Judgment was set, and the books were opened. I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. I saw in the night visions, and, behold, One like the Son of Man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.”

There it is. Daniel saw Him with that white hair. He was the Judge opening the books and judging out of them. Daniel saw Him coming in clouds. That is exactly what John saw. They both saw Him exactly the same. They saw the Judge with His judgment girdle over His shoulders, standing pure and holy, full of wisdom, fully qualified to judge the world in righteousness. Hallelujah. Even the world understands this symbology, for in ancient times the judge would appear and convene court, dressed in a white wig and a long robe that signified his complete authority (head to foot robe) to mete out justice.

An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages

Chapter 7, The Sardisean Church Age

Revelation 20:11-15, “And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”

There will be both the righteous and the unrighteous in this judgment. It says so. THESE RIGHTEOUS WILL NOT BE THE BRIDE FOR THE BRIDE SITS WITH HIM IN JUDGMENT.

1 Corinthians 6:2-3, “Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?”

Revelation 3:21, “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne.”

See, the bride is with Him in the throne. As she is to judge the world she has to be sitting in the judgment with Him. That is exactly what Daniel saw.

Daniel 7:9-10, “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, Whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like the pure wool: His throne was like the fiery flame, and His wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him: thousand thousands ministered unto Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.”

See, it is the same scene, for the thousand thousands who are ministering to Him are the bride, for who ministers to the husband but the wife?

The question now arises, why are these righteous ones in the judgment? There is no other place that they can come up, for there are but two resurrections and since they could not qualify for the first resurrection they must come up in the second which is a resurrection unto judgment. The ones who qualify for the first resurrection (the bride) are not in the judgment.

John 5:24, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life” (that is, the believer is already the recipient of eternal life which he has in his possession now), “and shall not come into condemnation” (shall not come into the judgment, is what it really says); “but is passed (permanently) from death unto life.”

But notice carefully, Jesus must have yet another group in mind who at a certain resurrection will receive eternal life. They will receive it at the resurrection, NOT HAVING PREVIOUSLY RECEIVED IT AS A MEMBER OF THE BRIDE. John 5:28-29, “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which ALL that are in the graves shall hear His voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”

Now we all know that John 5:28-29 is NOT THE RAPTURE for only the dead in Christ will arise from the graves at that time along with the living bride who still is on the earth.

I Thessalonians 4:16-17, “For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

But it says in John 5:28-29 that ALL are going to come forth from the grave. This is the very same resurrection that is spoken of in Revelation 20:11-15 wherein THE DEAD were brought before the Lord and judged according to their works, and all whose names were not in the Book of Life were then cast into the lake of fire.

Scriptures

1 Corinthians 15:24-28 24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Excepted: excluded, except the one who subjected.

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
