Psalm 31:19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
“Find joy in each day, not because life is always good, but because God is.”
We find ourselves in difficult circumstances and in situations that sometimes stretch and strain us. It is not realistic or truthful to think that everything we face is going to “feel” good or that each detail could be defined AS good. However, there are two powerful truths that we as Believers must always remember!
- Our God is good!
Psalm 145:9 The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
Everything about our Papa is good!
1 Samuel 12:22 For the Lord will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake: because it hath pleased the Lord to make you his people.
- It is ALL FOR our GOOD!
Even the “stuff” that we face in life that is NOT of itself good it is still FOR our good!
Romans 8:28 AMP And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.
If we consciously and consistently make a choice to “look for” and “FIND” the goodness of God in everything, we will discover JOY and PEACE in every day! He has a good plan for us that includes many good things!
Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
May you be overwhelmed with His JOY today as you remember just how GOOD, He really is to us!
